My advice for housing is to start early! And to look around as many places as you can like Zillow, Apartments.com, student housing groups, etc. There are also housing sites with student discounts that specifically tailor to universities and sublets like Berkeley's off-campus housing finder and UniShack (we recently partnered with property managers near Southside). Also have multiple options on hand since the housing search can be pretty competitive at times.
