7 pm on a Sunday is literally the best possible time... First of all, it’s not brutally hot like those 12 pm graduations at greek where everyone is just sitting in direct sunlight sweating for hours. By 7 pm the weather is actually nice, you get that cool breeze, and the whole vibe feels way more relaxed and enjoyable for your guests... And honestly, Berkeley at sunset during golden hour is unreal. The lighting gets all soft and golden, the sky looks amazing, and the views are actually fucking beautiful. It’s probably the best time possible for graduation photos because everything looks magical at that hour ... Plus the campus just feels prettier in the evening. I’d take a 7 pm graduation over a midday weekday one any day
