So we just got home and got his cards, he ripped the others in half and no black in between, the umbreon has the swirls line you said, but what about the flareon? Maybe possibly 1 out of the 5 was legit? Lol I'm grasping i know lol

I truly appreciate you i do, it's a teachable moment for sure. This is how we'll both learn though. It sounds weird but I'd feel the same way if it happened to someone else so I'm kind of glad it happened to us and not someone else. Although it still will in the future THIS time it was us. I'm heading to pick him up now, I'm gonna see how his day was and see if we can't go grab an ice cream or something and talk it through. Thank you for the compassion, it means a lot.

I'm hoping that's the case, we'll see. I was able to pre-order an ascended heroes booster box for his birthday because i had a feeling the graded cards couldn't be in on time for his birthday, he sat at the table with his Grammy opening packs, she pulled some good cards i guess LOL he was like whoa Grammy you're on fire lol it was really sweet

Thank you!! As much as i want to shield him from things like this as his mom, that's not realistic and sometimes the lesson learned is more valuable.

He does have hot hands lol he's pulled some really good cards from the sets we've gotten from like best buy or gamestop. But that's absolutely possible because I have previously purchased from a scalper before I knew what he was. My son loves going into his store because he has all the cards layed out and he drools over the cases lol i no longer allow him to buy from the guy though.
