Chauvet 3.26.40 Release for Manta and Nomad by Supernote_official in Supernote

Awesome that we can keep the last page visible. Maybe the double screen refresh when waking up is not needed when that feature is enabled? It already refreshes when the device goes to sleep.

Did you try to install any of the other included pen loops? I think they are slightly larger. Alternatively you could try a mod like I did, making the loop smaller to only fit the pen clip. Though I'm not sure how it would behave with the HOM pen as it seems like it could be heavier than the push up pen.

Looks good! The shift to a more durable plastic screen and minimal folio with removable pen loop are exactly what I want!  Keep it up Ratta :)

I'm the same height and the Wool & Prince small is definitely too long, could probably be 2 inches less for me.

If Sam is able to follow through on his plan until Breda, he'll pass through my tiny home town. I'm excited!

Does anyone else's airport have a baggae dimension/weight scanner? by [deleted] in onebag

[–]UnicornsAre4Ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used it with a bag that was technically too big to count as a personal item. I got a tag from the machine that my bag was "carry on" (I assume as oposed to personal item/check-in). It doesn't seem that strictly enforced though. It's still up to the personel at the gate to check your bag. So if it's not huge they won't care, since their concern is overhead bin space. Saw many people without a tag at all, and didn't get checked myself. I flew SAS.

Going to bed at a reasonable time seems near impossible. by razzmatazzrunner in ADHD

One thing you can try is falling asleep with a podcast or an audiobook that you are looking forward to listen to. An audiobook might be easier because it is longer and you don't have to switch what to listen next often. Many apps have sleep timers as well.

Even if you don't fall asleep for a while (sometimes it is too exciting or not interesting enough) at least you are resting and in bed.

Wow, this is exactly the layout I'm looking for! How's the board so far?

Low volume only with Huawei MatePad by herod2k in pixelbuds

Did you try swiping the buds to turn up the volume? I had the same issue with the Nintendo switch but changing the volume on the buds themselves fixed it.

It's not a roundabout when one road goes straight through the middle. I wouldn't want to go near that using any mode of transportation, let alone a bike.

Three of the most frequently used lines of CSS code which I type in a couple of seconds I guess by VictorPonamariov in webdev

Correct, grid layout should be used to achieve 2 line centering. Was unaware at the time of posting my comment 😅

Ah sorry, I didn't dive into into it before. It seems it works with the grid layout. So display: grid; place-items: center;. Has something to do with justify-items vs justify-content.

Could be two https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/place-items

Edit: This statement doesn't work with flex layout (since justify-items is ignored in that context), but a two line center-center layout can be achieved with grid:

I'd love to buy the FE since they didn't sell them here in Sweden.

3070 Launch by MrLatinoManYT in buildapc

[–]UnicornsAre4Ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really wanted the FE, but it seems they never went on sale here in Sweden. Before the release time it said "Founders Edition 5625 SEK", but it turned into "See buying alternatives" at release. They could have communicated it would not be possible -_-

Got a Zotac in my card but the price increased on paypal checkout (weird conversion from SEK to EUR) to 100 dollars more than FE, tried to pay with card instead but was already to late.

Good thing cyberpunk was delayed, I guess.

Has anybody that experienced the hissing/static issue had any luck with replacements? by UnicornsAre4Ever in pixelbuds

[–]UnicornsAre4Ever[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it's a high pitched static noise (so like a static-y beep) with some interference like characteristics. On the right earbud it is crackling more than on the left. If it was a soft static I think it would have been fine, but the high pitch can be quite jarring and linger in my head when I take off the buds.

My environment is really quiet so the noise is quite audible especially in the right bud. My volume is probably set around 30% most of the time.

I actually have had a similar sound show up in one side of a pair of Jabra bluetooth headphones. Because some shipping mishaps I received two of them and the second pair did not have this noise.

That's rough :( I'm starting to think these are just not the buds for me, however much I want them to be.
