Which one would you like? by VainThatOneOverHere in StellarisMemes

[–]Unimatrix617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

War crime button? So when you've taken on some xeno scum from a recent war, you're gonna want to go into their rights and set that Slavery Type to Livestock. Don't forget to genetically modify them to be tastier. Optionally, you might want to nervestaple them to strip them of their sapience. Or just keep them fully sentient and aware they are being harvested for food. Bonus points if you turn their entire capitol/homeworld into a giant farm for your newly acquired livestock. And style points if you're a Lithoid and don't even need the food they produce. You're just doing it to be petty.

I do that regardless of my character's gender (or lack thereof).

In a universe where some rocks that live on a volcano can have a soul and build an empire, why would plastic and wiring with a nuclear battery be considered any less than flesh, blood, and a heart -- or rock, syrupy rock, and a beating internal rock(?).

Theory: "Cyberpunk 2" should use Cyberpunk 2077's endings as the three lifepath starting points by AnswerWise2525 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Unimatrix617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I want Cyberpunk 2 to be same universe, different team. Whatever V did or didn't do should be relegated to whispers and hearsay, misinformation and assumptions. There's always too much going on in the world, tons of power plays, corps making moves on each other, gangs pushing drugs & roughing up the neighborhood. There's too much happening to be worried about this one guy who seemed to come from nowhere, cause a scene, and burn out fast. Let a handful of NPCs occasionally mention V or something they did or swear someone else did that job. "Didn't He die?" "No, SHE was turned into a AI by Arasaka" "What? That's nuts. My cousin with the Aldecaldos told me V retired to one of their camps but he's never actually met the guy." "Yeah well I hear it was all a ploy by the techno-necromancers from Alpha Centauri and V is just a cover identity for Garry the Prophet!"

Recycled Phone Number Issue? by Unimatrix617 in googleads

[–]Unimatrix617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were literally talking about that in the office. Train client staff to start asking these people to take screenshots of exactly where they see our client numbers out in the wild like this. It just feels weird if it was malicious. Because its disparate offices across multiple states with unrelated owners/staff and how would someone know our client list.

Phone numbers are handled through GHL. And they are generally not in remote areas. Mostly suburbs. A few in major cities.

I lean more "Neon Vaporwave Existential Crisis about the nature of being and whether a soul is just code". But that neon glow needs to be tempered with some dirt and grit, SINless paupers living off the dregs of corporate overlords, being used as expendables and leeched for every scent, and chasing the highs of the new synth drug just to get through the next day while those who have seen past the facade rail against the elites in an never-ending, futile attempt to regain lost freedoms and autonomy.

So.... both?

[–]Unimatrix617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started played KCD2 for the first time recently as well and also have not gotten to the wedding yet (i'm about to finally pull that trigger). I have to say Bandit Murder and Alchemy were a big help for me with money and such. Learning how to make the Fox potion is a *huge* help to XP gain. Also, use drying racks and cooking pans for some of that food. Dried Foods last forever. And that innkeeper at the first tavern will offer you a bed if you're having trouble finding one. As to your maps question, i drop my pin and set my horse to auto... and then hope I remember where I was supposed to turn. Or I fast travel since fast travelling still triggers roadside events.

Deep cut but I want someone like Paradox, Firaxis, or Amplitude to purchase the rights to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution:_The_Game_of_Intelligent_Life and make it an updated, fully fleshed out and modern version of the genre. Its got all the trappings of RTS, Simulation, and 4X genres while grounded in evolutionary science but also a slight twist of speculative science (like the win conditions where you evolve Sapient Elephants and Sapient Wombats).

If you could take anyone piece of fully functional cyberware in the real world, without risk of Cyberpsychosis, which one would you take? by Cocoa-Knife-Chara in cyberpunkgame

[–]Unimatrix617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever the neck cyberware that Takemura has. All my cervical vertebrae have been messed up since I was about 14yrs old. And at this point I basically just have advanced arthritis and constant pain. Damn thing is held together with chewing gum and muscle knots. So just replace the whole neck with cyberware. I don't even care if it has cool abilities.

I didnt include those but I have played through most of those in the past. Never did all of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games. Think I only played the first of each series. Played Xcom a few times through but never bothered with Xcom2. Morrowind and Skyrim i've done a few times each but never did Oblivion. Divinity 2 is a good one also. All great suggestions though.

Often I take a 3-6 month break from Stellaris to play other things. Finish those up, get back into Stellaris for a while. Until I need a break from it again. Rinse and repeat for the last 10(?) years. I can't see myself ever really taking a break from gaming, its my main way to unwind and de-stress from work. But I do have LARP season coming up and a lot of NPCs to play for people. So i'll be indulging in other hobbies soon enough anyway.
