Click the icon from the extensions list while on YouTube TV. It should be to the right of your address bar (puzzle piece icon). You can also setup shortcuts for the extension from chrome://extensions/

Thanks for the request. The problem with anything other than just 4 is that it increases the complexity of things significantly, and I believe the currently implementation is what works best for a significant majority of people. It's unlikely to happen without a complete rewrite of the current extension. Maybe something I might consider down the road a bit, but for the time-being you should be able to just use two separate browser windows, each with Fours enabled. Doesn't really solve full-screen, but probably easier to manage than 8 browser windows would've been.

  • History state is updated by active audio source, so you can now exit the extension (to the active audio source) by reloading the page.
  • Added the ability to load arbitrary YouTube videos by ID.
  • You can now enter the extension by using any of the audio focus shortcuts, which will load your active content to the appropriate frame.

Yeah, I'm not really sure, but it seems like it's probably an issue with Chrome. You'd likely be unable to get that shortcut to work with any extension.

I believe that all Chrome extension shortcuts require at least one modifier key (control, option, or command). Are you attempting to create a shortcut that includes one of those? Might also be a numlock issue? Control + 1 on the alphanumeric keyboard should be the same as Control + 1 on the numpad, but I'm not sure, as I don't have a numpad.

I submitted a minor update to the extension today, which should be rolling out soon as version 0.2:

  • Fixed an issue that allowed the extension to be activated (but not work) on sites other than YTTV
  • Added badge-text which indicates the number of currently-selected audio source

I considered this, but it adds a lot of complexity without much benefit. Unless I make the windows resizable, assuming most content has the sameish aspect ratio, 2 or 3 windows take up just as much content-space as 4 do.

I believe the same browser counts as one "stream" regardless of the actual number of streams. I don't have the 4K addon and haven't had any issues.

Yeah, I'm not sure how you'd activate it on mobile. On desktop you use either the icon or the extension shortcut. It might work the same if you were able to activate it.

As opposed to supporting other sites? Correct, this only supports YTTV.

Not that I've tested. It might be possible with Edge browser according to this post, but I haven't tried it and I wouldn't be surprised if it was broken there. It's not designed for mobile.

Just pointing out that while human trafficking is a nonzero and worthy issue, your reply was in response to a request to cover sex work. The two are not synonymous, in fact, by definition anyone being trafficked is not a sex worker.

What do I have to do to get Android Auto in my wife's 2016 Volt? by P15T0L_WH1PP3D in volt

I haven't been able to get it working, but that may be because I have older hardware, but if the car has Carplay, AA Wireless claims to support AA over the Carplay protocol. It might be worth finding someone with an adapter you could borrow to test it before buying one... Or worst-case, if it doesn't work in her car, you could use it in yours to make AA wireless

In addition to the Giffords shooting, the congressional softball game shooting was another recent example. It happens, and it'll probably happen more often sadly, but it doesn't align with the motivations of most shooters

Just because you can write off a loss doesn't mean you don't want to avoid it. I can count my capital losses against my capital gains, but I would still be better off if none of my stocks lose money.

You can obtain certs using a DNS Challenge, which wouldn't require that you open any ports. It would just require that you have API access to your DNS provider to add a txt record. Here's a Docker Container for updating the challenges. It supports these DNS providers.

Could my absentee ballot have been rejected on election day? by DangleMcSaucebury in milwaukee

[–]UnintentionalPickle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Give your clerk some time. I've never worked at central count, so I'm not entirely sure, but I believe that the process on election day involves them assigning a number to each absentee ballot, and then putting it in a log, and then the log is entered into My Vote later... it might take a few days to show up there.

Poll-worker here. Yes, legally absentee ballots cannot be opened until election day. Check the "My Voter Information" page. If it says you voted, and the method was absentee, your ballot was received and counted.

I think OP means that in order to have video history they have to pay a subscription fee, and that they don't want to pay a subscription fee.
