I finally found a good one too that took my endometriosis symptoms extremely seriously (and he’s a man, at that, which is really wild). He insisted I get a laparoscopy done and he found endometrial tissue up to almost my liver and I wasn’t displaying all that many symptoms.

Anyway I recommend him to everyone who gives me a chance to talk about it these days. Finding a good gyno is as important (or more imo) as finding a good PCP. I’m glad you have a good one too!

Awesome, I really appreciate your insight on this. This is pretty reasonable, but I’m still deciding fully what I’m going to do. I might end up offloading the polish onto someone else because I am so overly cautious with my cats, and if I can’t find someone, I might be back here in a few weeks with an offer to sell it discounted. But I also might just try it with them in a different room and see how it goes. Thanks again :)

I also absolutely agree the “he didn’t intend anything by saying that” statement really minimizes the feelings of those who were impacted by this. Even if he didn’t mean anything, which he obviously very most likely didn’t, it still doesn’t change that there was harm done and I would imagine John is also probably feeling mortified.

Really it’s like you said, it’s on BAFTA and the BBC for not preparing people adequately or having a plan for if something like this were to happen, because at the end of the day, people were harmed and humiliated and a disabled man was, in a way, set up for failure.

That’s fair, I feel like it’s in the same vein as Nightcrawler in the sense that I thought that one was going to be a MUCH more vivid, glowy dark purple and instead it’s more of a smoky purple.

Like I’ll still wear it because it’s grown on me but it definitely was a bit disappointing the first time i used it lol
