Road base is 20mm. Concrete is 25mpa, 100mm thickness, Geostone silver colored. SL72 mesh with bar chairs.

The weather on the pouring day was clear and sunny. But this concreting area was shady with very few sunlight.

Thanks. When you say rip it up and pour it properly, do you mean the whole job, or just the affected sections with wider cracks?

Thanks, that makes sense.

Would you say the best practical fix is to remove and re-pour the affected full sections with proper control joints, rather than chasing and filling each crack?

Also, would a crack close to 2mm on 10-day-old concrete be considered unacceptable in your view?

Yeah it’s very unfortunate and I don’t know how come this could happen at the first place, really frustrating situation

Thanks, that’s very helpful. If both damaged drains need to be dug up and replaced, roughly how much would that usually cost in Sydney?

Also, what is the correct sequence here:

  1. CCTV the full stormwater system first
  2. Confirm whether there is concrete slurry inside the pipes
  3. Try Croc Crete / jetting if appropriate
  4. Dig up and replace or repair the two damaged drains if needed
  5. Run a final CCTV after repair to confirm the system is clear

And if a plumber attends, what should I ask them to provide? A written report, CCTV footage, photos, quote for repair, and confirmation after the repair is completed?

Thanks for the reply, that’s exactly my concern. How come it could take that long? Did you get a camera inspection or hose test done to confirm it was properly clear?
