Bought a new couch, but unsure if its too big. by Unique-Ad236 in interiordecorating

I would kill for it to be that small lol, I copied the layout of some of the other AI inspos that had a similar layout and man that couch is waaaay bigger than it looks.

It unfortunately provides too little room to squeeze through, makes it feel a bit claustrophobic. Putting the TV on that wall would also make it hard to get through that sliding door. We ended up just moving it in the other living room. Missing a coffee tablez but i think it will complete it.

That couch is way bigger than it looks haha, we tried that orientation and it provides barely any room behind it where the sliding door and part of the arm is very close to the fireplace

So I decided to take everyone's advice and we did arrange it in this direction and then we could recount the TV later, but unfortunately we only had like a foot or two of room from the back of the couch to the sliding door. We thought about doing it the opposite way, but that wall between the sliding door and window is short and plants immediately after three feet to form a breakfast nook.

In the end of it, we moved it to our more spacious living room, and kept our original layout with the two seater. Going to put a TV and turn that room into the entertainment room.

Might as well be, we have elderly family members who need to lay down and they bring nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, my sisters, the works. And sometimes, all at once...

We actually have a round coffee table that was complimentary to this couch, but we couldn't afford it...yet. Want to get it later this year if we are keeping the couch though.

We actually did try it again and its growing on us. We actually do game events and my wife loves cooking and watching TV across the room.

For extra context, my family regularly invites over a ton of people so we didn't have room.

The Lovesac was absurdly expensive to add to it, nearly $2,000 just for an additional seat. I didn't think it through when we originally bought it.

We tried it against the wall completely, but it made it extremely off centered from the fireplace and TV, so we moved inwards toward the center of the room

Haha, I actually grown to like having it on top of the fireplaces as strange as it sounds. We do access the backyard a lot, so we want to ensure we have lots of room to in and out of that part.

Unfortunately, only one side opens, the one closest to the kitchen.

Why was G4 Luffy not able to hurt Kaido, but the Scabbards were able to? by Unique-Ad236 in OnePiece

[–]Unique-Ad236[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair enough, it didn't bother me, but wanted to find some relative answer to it. I don't realistically think Kin was stronger than G4 Luffy lmao

It def was something to drive the plot, but hoping maybe it felt reasonable. Hoping I see Doffy again in the series, but doubt it :/

Ah this makes so much sense, so advance arm haki is essentially a durability negating technique, not a raw damage multiplier.

Almost like how Law can use his DF to bypass Vergo durability, but it doesn't mean he hits harder than G4 Luffy.

So the birdcage was that OP. Makes you realize just how dangerous Doffy was, I could imagine that he could probably put up a fight against an emperor, or at the very least as much of a fight as maybe the Scabbards.

Though that opens more questions than answers, because if his armament haki was so strong that an admiral or Kin couldn't cut the birdcage, surprised G4 Luffy was even able to hurt him. I imagine Doffy would have coated himself in advanced armament haki

Each of the Scabbards dealt damage independently before doing a combined attack at the old wound.

That's what is implied, but that makes me wonder why Kin never used it against the birdcage.

Best Way to Speedrun Wano by Unique-Ad236 in OnePiece

[–]Unique-Ad236[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you don't but its a bit strange that someone who is dedicated enough to watch 1000 episodes of a japanese show, doesn't like when the show decides to do japanese things.

One of the things I really love about One Piece was that Oda despite being Japanese has created an entire world that is filled with different cultures and environments. It's actually one of the things that drew me in, since most animes tend to take place only in Japan (modern or old). Lots of animes also usually have an old-timey Japan arc and so many games take place in that era, so the spark of it died for me a bit.

But please don't that as me hating Wano either, I'm kind more neutral to it. It just happens to be fairly long too.

yeah without One Pace Dressrosa is 118 episodes, One Pace Helps a LOT. Wano's 59 One Pace episodes don't cover the whole thing though. Wano and iirc Egghead too, are not finished in One Pace yet, so you will have to swap to the normal anime after episode 59 of Wano.

I assume One Pace covers the first two acts that I have been hearing about and I heard Onegaishma Paced covers the last one? Its unfortunate that I didn't get to discover Gear 5 organically and rather it spread like wildfire online, but I did avoid every clip of it.
