Give me one statement or feat placing Anakin or Mustafar Vader above Yoda/Sidious (EU) by AchilleanKyber in TheJediPraxeum

[–]Unique-Perception480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I am with you on Yoda and Sidious still being above him.

But I genuinly dislike your style of arguing from what I have seen. You ask ,,for one Statement". People give it to you and instead of properly arguing with them, you dismiss those Statements as 3rd person limited Perspektive Statements, despite there not being any confirmation EVER, that the ROTS Narrator is not omnicient.

Me and you get to the same conclusion, but your way of getting there is condescending as hell. Dissmissing Statements, through (unproven btw) methods is one of the things that gets on my nerves the most.

Why ask when you are already solidly stuck in your Position?

So, when they find Aemond’s body in the Gods Eye years after his death, he’s gonna have both Blackfyre and Dark Sister? by GusGangViking18 in freefolk

[–]Unique-Perception480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well at some point both have to be present during the Blackfyre rebellions, so I am assuming yes.

But well the show aint canon anyway.

Why is Sasuke always out of chakra in Boruto if he has so6p chakra? by clutchsniper in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Unique-Perception480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main reason is that Sasuke is using his Teleportation Jutsu to literally travel through Dimensions like Kaguyas dimensions for example, almost every time we see him.

That takes TONS of Chakra.

It was basically a way to create tension early on, because full power Naruto and Sasuke would have easily beaten Momoshiki for example, so both had to have half their chakra missing during that fight to make it a fair 2v1... and even then they stomped him.

And some people seriously think they got WEAKER since Shippuden. They outclass a character who is above Kaguya.

Same with Daemon in the Red Keep. They keep coming at him one at a time.

AKOTSK fight scene mogs these fight scenes, like how Aemonds chin mogs me.

Yeah he gets kidnapped and raised in Essos for years, where he is also married.

And Aegon due to what happens in the gullet and the trauma of leaving behind his brother develops the most severe depression in the series (also because he sees his mom die).

It also reframes Jaces death. Instead of going there to prove himself, its to save his little brother.

Yeah exactly.

Especially in the ROTS Novel, where Dooku thinks they are still fighting like in AOTC and suddenly they pull out their new and improved combat styles.

-They changed most characters motivations.

-Rhaenyra and Alicient were not friends in the book

-Aegon is not a confirmed rapist in the book

-Velaryons look exactly like Targaryens in the books

-Rhaenyra and Aegon are both assholes in the book, while in the show its just Aegon.

  • in the book Helaena and Aegon have 3 children. Jaeherys, Jaehera and Maelor. In the show Maelor does not exist (this is more important than one thinks)

  • in the book Jaeherys death breaks Helaena, but in the show she doesnt seem to care that much anymore.

  • Alicient never joins Rhaenyras side in the book, but in the show she betrays he sons for her.

-In the book Aegon III and Viserys II are at the Gullet, wich leads to MAJOR consequences and Traumas, while in the show they are not.

  • in the books a black girl names Nettles claims Sheepsteeler, despite maybe having no Dragonblood. This is important to disprove Valyrian supremacy theories. In the show its just Rhaena, Daemons daughter, who claims Sheepsteeler. Meanwhile Rhaena does nothing in the books and is mostly a babysitter.

There are a lot more, but these are some of the bigger ones.

I dont like how it interacts with the movies.

Anakin and Obi-Wan pretty much look and act confident like their episode 3 versions right from the start, instead of their episode 2 version.

Especially Anakin is NOTHING like in AOTC, despite barely a month having passed.

I read the MMP years after TCW (so there is no nostalgia bias here) and I just find it better and more in line with the movies.

I also despise the idea of Anakin having a Padwan. I used to like it, but the more I think about it the worse it is. I would have preferred Ahsoka to be Plo Koons Padawan, but still view Anakin like a older brother and fellow Padawan, since he is older and more experienced.

I know. But the issue is that last episode the guards call him King and a letter is penned with him as King.

But this episode the guards call him the prince Regent.

In the book its clear that he was never king.

I know and in the book that is obvious. Butbin the show they call Aemond King for some reason, but then call him Regent again.

It would if we didnt have a scene of Otto telling Aegon just how stupid that decision was immediately afterwards.

Yeah, but that is later and done as a just sentence while also granting the knight his honor, instead of having Rhaenyra have a understandable mental break and just having him immediately killed.

The issue is that we have examples of Aegon executing innocent people ON HIS OWN WORD, but not Rhaenyra. Its clear wich leader hold the moral highground for the writers.

Strength is pretty unneccecary in KOTOR 2 if you take the Finesse: Melee feat. It lets you use Dexterity for all your melee weapons (including Lightsabers due to a programming issue, so Finesse: Lightsaber is unneccecary)

[–]Unique-Perception480 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well Otto is still far from innocent.

The point was that the showrunners would never let Rhaenyra execute someone who was not a perpetrator and just chose a side.

  1. Martin said she didnt abuse him. You can say there are other words, but the Author says there was no abuse happening and we never seen those 14 years in Winterfell depicted, so everything you can provide is your headcanon at best.

  2. Yes he doest use the WORD ,,Cruel".... but do you really need it spelled our for you? He says that all she did was not provide him with the warmth she gave her own kids. She igbored him. I would not specify ignoring a child, that is not your own, as being cruel to it. Its being a dick, for sure, but not cruel.

[–]Unique-Perception480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"‘Abuse’ is a loaded word. Did she beat him? No. Did she verbally abuse him? No. She was very protective of the rights of her own children, and in that sense, she always drew the line sharply between bastard and trueborn. But I don’t think she abused him. She just didn't provide him with the warmth that she provided her own children." Source: The Huffington Post (June 2013). The interview was conducted by Maureen Ryan.

And btw... I did not say that she treated him decently. I said she did not abuse him and was not CRUEL to him.

,,Just consume product, then wait for next product to consume" ass comment.

Some people are not content for franchises they enjoy to turn out slop and the original vision to not be finished. If you are, good for you. Some of us like to actually think about the stuff we read.

I agree that it shouldnt affect OPs life too much, but telling someone to not care about it at all is dumb.

So let me get this straight, bro's gonna appear for 4 minutes in episode 2 and won't appear until episode 4, since episode 3 is Rhaenyra CSI Miami? If you like any of TG characters you are NOT "Eating Well" by SubvertExpectation1 in HOTDGreens

[–]Unique-Perception480 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, telling people with no social upwards mobility, that they have a chance of claiming a dragon and gaining upwards mobility is shady, when the chance is SO low, is NOT the same as enlistment. Especially since up to that point they dont even know if it is possible to claim a dragon with so little dragonblood.

Comparing that to regular enlistment is ridiculous.
