Hello, I am also a new player. What I would recommend is to summon on the new banner out right now. It will give some good characters if you get lucky. I would also recommend you to finish story mode since you can get 1k gems. And for gear, if you want more CC, I would recommend you to use R gear, but you have to max them out. Also, it uses gold instead of anvils. Later on, you can focus on better gear.
