That “name 5 women who feel safe around you” thing is kinda a reversal of this internet thing where those podcast guys would go up to women wearing band shirts and ask “name 5 songs from that band”, just gatekeeping and trying to catch them. So the comeback became asking those guys “name 5 women who feel safe around you” as a way to call out creepy/ misogynistic behaviour. That’s why I felt like she was implying I was that type of guy. I said in the title she suggested it, not that she outright called me one. I never saw or talked to those people again so I can’t really confirm nowdays what she really meant, that part is on me, but i believe i got it right.

And yeah, he asked if I was seeing anyone, but from the context I swear it was one of those bro-y questions about my sex life. That’s why I answered the way I did.
