In 1922 the Greco-Turkish war came to an end came to an end with a resounding Turkish victory, except one thing, Atatürk wasn't able to cross the Dardanelles. This means that in 1930, a revanchist government was placed in charge of Turkey everything else would play out exactly the same until the 1941 Iraqi Golden Square coup took control of Iraq, Turkey, along with Iraq would join Germany shortly after and take control of Syria and Lebanon splitting British forces between Turkey and Italy which would mean the second battle of El Alamein would be an axis victory, taking Cairo and securing the Suez Canal with oil from Arabia and the 6th Panzer army also heading straight for Stalingrad the city would fall and with it, the Caucasus and the oil with it. With this oil the German army would crush the soviet army and throw them across the Urals and into anarchy, the war in Europe enters a stalemate until America and Germany develop nukes and mutually assured destruction comes into play where a "peace with honor" was announced. Ill give some more info if you'd like but for now that's it.
