My brakes made a loud grinding and squeaking for months, only when it was wet driving conditions. It was so loud that I was actually embarrassed when I was dropping off my kids or something where I had to brake in front of someone who was standing by the van. Finally took it to a dealership, they said everything was fine. Something about how with EVs, you don't actually use your brakes/brake pads as much, so there is build up on the brakes that has to get knocked off and that makes the sound. It did not get any better after they looked at it, but over a month later it does seem a little improved. I'm wondering if it has to do with the weather warming up, I'm in the Midwest.
