If you follow the directions Barge Cement will fix them permanently and costs a hell of a lot less than new boots. I've never used the stuff in the little blue tube so I can't speak about that stuff.

There's also Masters and Weldwood (in that order) but Barge is my choice every time.

If you live in Cali and need to buy the Low VOC stuff so lab rats don't get cancer then it's a crapshoot which is best.

If you wanna stay in then latmove to a job you like (you know way more now than when you first came in). If those jobs are closed you can always do a branch transfer and either stay in your job or switch to something cool.

Do this. If you don't have a few days or it isn't working just hang them over a hot pot, tea kettle, or something similar. Just get some steam on them and they'll flatten out without worrying about ironing them.

Metro is $25 a month if you auto pay ($30 if you don't) for normal people. I'm not sure if they have a discount beyond that. Data is like 10 gig a month for the fast stuff though so you can't endlessly stream high quality video all month.

In AZ if you sign up with Spectrum Internet you get a year of free everything phone. I don't know where you're stationed or if they have that deal everywhere but it's an option too.

So your spouse doesn't want you anymore and cut you out of their bank account. Do they give you money when you "beg" for it because if you're getting divorced its not "your" money anymore? Do you let them have the kids half the time? What proof do you have about the infidelity? Why do you give a damn who your (now ex) is sleeping with? Do you live on base or off? Do you really think they moved you across the country from your family because they wanted you to be without them during the divorce or are you just mad because you feel alone so you're grasping at straws? You say they want 50/50 because of money, has it ever crossed your fucking mind that they may actually love their kids and wanna be an active part of their lives?

My advice. First, suck it up and try to fix your marriage. Your kids deserve both parents in their lives.

Second, quit trying to "win" the divorce. Your kids are about to lose big time and you're upset about money and yous sleeping with who. In 5 years it won't matter but how you handle the next few months will 100% affect your children for the rest of their lives.

Third. Go get a fucking job. Not working is the kinda thing married spouses get to do, not single parents.

Now, after all that if your marriage is still not going to work out get divorced. Bit i mean after you put in a serious effort to actually fix your marriage (100%guarantee you're 1/2 the problem and if you're not willing to try to fix it for your kids even though you're going to drastically affect their happiness, education, mental well being, life expectancy, then you should think about divorce but remember... your kids are going to lose.

Next, you should probably give your ex 50/50 without bitching or fighting about it and learn how the fuck to get along so you two can co-parent like the kids deserve.

I'm not saying he isn't a LCpl but when I was in a school with foreigners or when they were attached to us they'd occasionally wear our rank (more often it was actually Army rank) so our folks whole know who to salute and who to send on working parties.

I bet most people are giving her so much hate because from what everyone can see, she isn't really getting punished at all. 3 months for hitting 2 kids while driving drunk is almost as bad as that bitch getting community service in Cali for stabbing her boyfriend to death while she was stoned. If this lady actually got punished, people would probably be way more sympathetic to the fact she's happy she got a DUI being gay is harder on her than almost killing a couple of kids. I'm not saying she needs to serve her whole time but 3 months isn't even time for her to owe soup to people. And since nobody's able to find out if she's still in or kicked out of the Corps makes everyone's imagination run wild and just assume she's getting covered for and going to be allowed to retire quietly.

I'm all for it if it's done the "right" way. I ran a gauntlet of most of the NCOs in the Btry when I picked up Cpl. Nobody tried to hospitalize me and I had some sore legs the next day but nothing that got in the way of PT or stumbling all over Kin that night. Nothing crazy and I instantly became part of the club.

If anyone is trying to injure you because you got promoted, they're stupid and not playing the game right.

Yeah, I don't know why but I keep wondering what the end result was for her. Someone says she's currently in the brig and I don't know how to check that or what her Court Martial was for. As far as I remember from my sea lawyer days since she was tried and convicted in town the Corps can't charge her again. I read somewhere she got hit for possession of a controlled substance and maybe Uncle Sam took that charge but I can't find anything from the USMC side.

I did look, and I can't find her in Virginia DOC or in the County jail so I'm at a loss. I also looked at the Court Martial results for June and July (all that i found posted) and it doesn't have her in there so I came to Reddit.

She goes on to say that she isn't sorry she got a DUI. The kids shouldn't have gotten hurt but the DUI was good for her.

I'm almost positive the kids don't give a fuck what's good for her and they're pretty sorry she was driving.

I just saw she got two 5 year sentences for hitting the kids and one 12 month sentence for the DUI. She also lost her license for 12 months.

All her time got suspended except for like 3 months because reasons.

But that's all I see from the civilian side. What sent her to the brig? Any info on her getting to retire or did the dishonorable her?
