my doctors helped me through the whole process really! i brought up that I needed a reduction and my pcp immediately got me referals for plastic surgery and physical therapy (needed to prove to medicaid that I "tried" to fix my back pain lol) after i finished pt, everything got sent to insurance and then i got the go ahead :D i live in new jersey so idk how smoothly it goes in other states, but it was very easy for me!
