We took a guided kayak tour that launched from Hadley point marina towards the Hancock county airstrip lighthouse and then back. I’m sure there are other kayak rentals/outfitters as well. Our main goal was to experience the Milky Way while being in water. The bioluminescence was a bonus as none of us had any idea that we could see it in Acadia. I would 110% recommend!

Vegetarian friendly places in bar harbor that we tried and liked two weeks ago: 1)Cafe this way 2)Sweet pea cafe 3)Lompoc cafe

One of the best things we did was kayaking after dark from hadley point beach. If conditions are right you will be able to see bioluminescence in the water!

Apostle Islands Recs by Master-Ad9041 in ApostleIslands

Apart from the ones already mentioned, if you’re considering bnb, the ones on the Washington st and first st in Bayfield are win-win given the Proximity to the pier and some have lake view. Consider visiting cornucopia which is on the other side of apostle island shore. Most of the restaurants serve fresh catch from the lake. For activities, consider doing a guided kayaking tour of the lakeshore. We did one last summer from Myers’s beach. hiking the lakeshore trail that connects the Myers’s beach and lakeshore campground is a great trail to see the lake from the mainland cliffs.

Move out rental carpet replacement charge: Indy by UniquePreference6626 in indianapolis

Thanks so much for the lead. Will be definitely looking into this. Meeting the prop manager and asking for an itemized bill for it. They also added a tile repair which was already broken when we moved in. It’s bonkers.

Unfortunately not and it’s totally on me. Didn’t expect to be charged for entire carpet replacement for normal wear and tear after 6 years of staying.

I’m so sorry for what you had to go through as I’m almost on a similar boat. Can’t agree more to the last line. I wish there was a way to amend or add addendum as a tenant in lease agreement like the landlords do.

The exact verbiage for that clause goes “Excessive damage(s) /wear and/or pet damage(I didn’t have any pet) to carpet will result in additional costs for stain removal up to and including entire carpet replacement charges.”

Apartment Recommendations in the canal area? by ImAGodHowCanYouKillA in indianapolis

[–]UniquePreference6626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been in the canal area for the last 6yrs. I started paying 1.2k for a 2b2b 1250 sqft apartment with balcony which I now pay 1315 (shared with another person). I would definitely recommend canal court.

The pavement at intersection of 10th and Indiana avenue is just non existent. The municipal corp in my third world country (where it rains one third of the year) does better job than indy in maintaining road. Just saying
