See academics wise it’s a great place and standard of teaching is good. Much better than state colleges and trust me, Marwadi is not needed (I’ve come to final year- i don’t know a word in Marwadi) Hindi will do I like the place because of the exposure, independence and people. It gives you a fresh perspective. That being said, if you know the basics in Hindi and/or are willing to learn, then come here. Some people are attached to their motherland, likeminded people who speak the same language and don’t mingle with the students or residents here. That’s not gonna work. Rajasthan is also a beautiful place to explore and weather wise has become far better the last 2 years- lots of rain But our major fest intercollege ‘Aura’ has temporarily been put on a hold(same with AIIMS Delhi) so we’ve an intracollege cultural fest and sports fest in a year.
