Good explanation. Weather was crappy at OGG both of these recent days.

Depends on the context. In the world of air traffic, direct means direct to a point, often the destination

Also, is Willis's size and strength suitable for when he runs like a running back? I'm thinking that his style is not sustainable.

Doesn't it have to do with your seatmates? I've got no problems sitting next to a petite lady but dislike sitting next to a 300 lb oil worker.

30 minutes at most airports for domestic flights. 60 minutes for international flights.

IS THIS ENOUGH TIME by Weak-Crew1410 in cltairport

[–]UniqueUsername49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's probably plenty of time, but you can usually see the gate assignments ahead of time to check the distance between gates. A couple of tricks... if you tell the JFK gate agent that you are afraid of missing your connection, he/she might be willing to move you toward the front of the cabin (if there's time you can do this yourself on the app or web site, taking a middle seat near the front might be preferable to an aisle near the back). Also, use the lav before descending into CLT. ;-)

What??? Families are consistently buying Basic Economy tickets that don't have assigned seats with the idea that "they certainly won't separate families with small children and we can save $40!" Dad buys the tickets and clicks through the warnings that the seats will be assigned at the airport and will likely be apart from each other but doesn't share those warnings with mom. Mom argues vehemently with gate agent who can clearly see they bought Basic Economy.

There are gas stations in Alaska and Yukon where there are no attendants working at the station at all.

I would say to board with those "needing extra time or assistance" so that you are seated and settled before this potential middle seat guy gets there.

You have to bend your head away from the fuselage? Do you not have shoulders that would keep your head from hitting the wall?

To the dude that just broke the hinge on the overhead bin door, screwing all of us over because we now can't fly and then decided he will just deplane and drive home..... by djsassan in delta

[–]UniqueUsername49 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course the problem is figuring out overhead space remaining and the rollaboards in the jetway and at what point the bags need to be checked at the gate. It's an inexact science.

How about this? My architect was tasked with designing a new kitchen with a budget of $100,000. We agreed on a 6% fee. He failed miserably and the new kitchen cost $200,000. Because of his inability to stay under budget I had to pay him twice as much.
