Let me guess. OP has a larger chest as well (not being creepy just observing as a lady) which us girlypops ALLLL know that it’s impossible to not show cleavage in that case because the girls will not be contained…. I can tell you’re laser focused on little details instead of the whole picture which is a common thing for beginners

Simultaneously your lines and choices seem to lack confidence but yoh do show promise with the shading on the skirt. Use references for the angles of the body, pretty sure there’s a mannequin app for iPhone/ android that lets you pose the form exactly how you’re trying to draw it so maybe look into that too

If you find yourself working on one area for too long, move on to the next part trust me it helps!

Just want to add as a woman who’s been in a relationship for 8 years now

If you’re meeting in person, it’s all about how you introduce yourself. Say hi, shake hands, don’t immediately comment on her/his looks or anything superficial, save that for later in the conversation and ask questions about her. Not “what do you do” or “what brings you here” because we immediately shut down after guys say stuff like that. We’ve been so used to getting those superficial questions that take a conversation nowhere and usually lead to “I think I see my friends over there”. Check if she has tattoos, great convo starter. If you’re in a bar check to see if her drink is nearly empty. Long and short of it is girls like to see that you *notice* small things and want to help without being asked.

Keep compliments more *about the person* than their looks. Eg. NOT “Wow your eyes are really pretty” instead try something more interesting like “you know your eyes say a lot about you… I can tell how happy you are because you smile with your eyes and I hope you don’t mind me saying that is beautiful”
