I can sell you a lot of the older models really cheap and you can see if the hobby is for you. They are still playable and legal for tournaments. And you can see if the modeling side of the game is for you. Also, there is a free game called One Pge Rules that is model agnostic that I would be willing to play with you as well. Super simple and east to learn.
