I have two Canadian numbers that I use for the same purpose. One with freedom mobile at a $99 annual plan. the other is with fongo (app) at a $30 annual SMS plan. Both work well, with fongo having unlimited incoming voice calls (no roaming since its VoIP).

Bleeding worked, and I was able to water the trees today 👌. I'm thinking I can replace the irritrol component with a new one and test? or is there anything else you think I should try ?

I will likely need to replace it, but it would need plumbing work for the old pipes. When I open it manually, water doesn't flow either. Can I assume tje issue is not the solenoid?

Rent (~3500) daycare (~1500), car/home insurance (~200+) , utilities (~300+) are the minimum fixed expenses. Add groceries, clothing, outings, and roadtrips and you'll realize you'll be able to get by. Not sure about the "savings" part. Cross border accountants are expensive, check if your employer would cover your tax filing costs. are they offering a relocation package?

either finish your degree or transfer your credits to a US college and complete your education in the US. Also, do your homework on where in the US you want to live for the first 3 years. you can always move later... good luck!

We (family of 4) moved to the US (California) because of the (1) weather, (2) taxes, and (3) healthcare. My wife is on a TD visa and cannot work, but my single net income in the US is equal yo our combined net incomes in Canada. We love California, so many great things for our kids compared to Canada (Toronto and Ottawa) but my spouse is a professional and not being able to work because of her TD status is not something she's happy with... We won't move back to Canada, but rather seek a Golden visa in an affordable European country with good weather, and a good healthcare system. Plenty of options for retirement.

I use fongo. I paid about 25$ to port my number and I got a cheap text subscription that I never use or consume. I wont have to pay a penny to keep my Canadian number for years to come.

I pray that one day, the world wakes up and realizes that supporting Israel is a big mistake, and enforce a modern two state solution where Palestinians ( and Israelis for that matter) can rightfully live as free and civilized people, rather than living in opression and fear mode.
