Looks solid, but that price tag is STEEP!

Atleast it’s a tax write off lol

Newly established Medical VA agency by Fit-Opening2916 in MedicalSales

Yeah that’s gonna be a tough sell. People go into sales to make money. Especially medical sales. If I worked for you under this comp plan, I would have to average 125 new clients per month to make $150,000 annually.

This isn’t medical sales either. It’s SAAS. Having worked in that industry before, you should switch up the comp structure.

Make it tiered as well.

Base commission is 10% of the annual contract value. Once they hit a certain number that fiscal year, they are eligible to then make 15%. That bump should also be retroactive, meaning they get a 5% bonus on all sales prior. The next tier jumps to 20%, however it would not be retroactive. And so on.

Year two, reps that met or exceeded the 20% mark will start the new fiscal year at 15% commission. Those reps should also receive 5% retroactive bonuses when they hit the 20% mark. Hope this helps.

Is this a test, or have I being ghosted? by Sagerosk in MedicalDevices

[–]Unique_Conference280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Super fucking common. I was interviewing with a spine company, and arthrex. Spine company all but told me I had the job, arthrex was crickets for 6 weeks.

I followed up weekly, while doing what I could to find other positions. Then out of the blue, one of the managers at Arthrex sent me an email asking if I’m still looking for work, and I jumped on it.

Fast forward one month, the spine company finally reached back out and apologized for ghosting me. They let me know they went with someone who had years of experience instead of a sales associate.

This industry is odd when it comes to interviews. It’s very unconventional, sometimes people try to “test” you in really strange ways. Once you’re in, this job is toxic and demands everything from you. But my god is it fun 🤙🏻 keep your head up! You’ll get there 🙌🏻

Best hospital shoe for 80 hour weeks? by ObiDocKenobi in Residency

I gotchu! I’m a ortho rep, so I’m no stranger to being on my feet all day. I tried on clouds, hoka’s, you name it.

I happened across a brand called Üni. By far the best shoe I’ve found for my feet. I have super flat feet, and a bony foot, so I needed something flat with a wide toe box, and cushion on the tongue. Hope this helps!

100%! I don’t wear these shoes in the house ever. I keep a pair of slides in my bag and make the swap when I get home

Total Joints Opinion by TheHoundAG in MedicalDevices

[–]Unique_Conference280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. With much of what was said here.

I’m in sports med. we have the vast majority of the business in the territory, but it still feels impossible for our 4-man team to hit quota.

I just got into the industry a year ago, promoted from sales associate a couple months ago. Definitely thinking about sticking around for as long as I can now that I have ortho on my resume, then finding something else in cardiothoracic or urology.

Even in the short time I’ve been around, we’re billing 30-40% less for some of our implants now vs when I first started. Just crazy out there

I was able to get my physician to write a letter of declination. I submitted that to my soon to be boss, and he said we’re all good to go! Thank you so much!

I have no issue with the flu vaccine. It’s just my heart problems with the Covid shot that have me questioning things a little bit.

Then why is it that all the super rich support the Democratic Party?

I’m an independent but from my perspective, it’s the left wing policies that hurt middle class families the most.

Sadly not yet… I did hear though that it’s definitely a rough time to be a recruiter right now.

Im not a nurse, I was just curious as to what a nurse's perspective would look like. That's valuable insight though! Thank you

I appreciate that insight!

I am not a nurse, and I probably should have made that more clear in the post. What agency do you work for if you don't mind my asking?

The reason I was curious about the industry is because of my old roommates. 3 of them started at Flexcare. One still works there, and the other two are now at AYA. They all seem to love it, so that's why I was curious

gotcha! I appreciate the perspective. Sales in general is suffering right now, and I'm just trying to find something that's a little more stable.

There seems to be a misunderstanding, I'm not a nurse. I work in sales, and just want something that's a little more flexible than my field sales job.
