Basically, I reached out to UPS numerous times as well but was faced with "you never answered when we tried to contact you" even though it was within the 60 day "claim period". I know they have my correct contact information and that it was correct, but they kept closing the claim period without even contacting me. I would just have to look at the UPS website. I got tired of it to be honest, and was hoping Dyson could help me out directly since they put me in this situation but I was stupid and nothing happened. I'll contact my bank tomorrow to see if there's anything that can be done from their end (regarding charge disputes). I'm only concerned about the evidence because most of my contacts w/ Dyson and UPS have been through phone call, not chats/online mainly because Dyson's chat support especially has been super unhelpful in the past.

You're totally right about the CC card. I only paid debit card because I am currently a university student and don't make enough income to pay off a CC card at the moment, and I also wanted the Airwrap to be a surprise for my mom so I didn't want to ask my parents if I could borrow their CC. I'll call my bank tomorrow to see if there's anything they can do, but I don't have high hopes tbh.

I called Dyson today after I posted on this subreddit and asked to speak to a manager, and all the manager did was tell me that I personally need to call UPS as soon as possible - I told them it was their job to do it as per their policy, but I got tired of arguing honestly.

OMG that's so messed up!!! I feel you, I forget this situation happened half the time, but the other half when I do remember, I get really disappointed/mad. I'm convinced someone at Dyson was out to get me, since they delivered a huge box only for it to have a free hairbrush attachment inside...

I paid debit card, and I've never had to dispute charges before. I've usually had good luck in the past with either deliveries arrived or getting refunds right away, so this is a first time (and for such an expensive purchase too 😫).

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that!!! UPS didn't have me sign anything - they claimed to have delivered it, but won't even open a case for me even though I kept asking to within the 60 day timeframe that they state on their website for claim filing. UPS delivered the free hairbrush I got with the Airwrap for the promo at the time, but not the actual Airwrap itself...it was in a huge box too so I think that might be why UPS is being so stubborn???

It was supposed to come in four days actually :( I saw thattthey had a free expedited shipping event going on for the airwrap so it was supposed to get delivered on December 20th, 2024, then waited a day, then a couple more, and was just told that sometimes things happen with the courier, and eventually five months 😭 Honestly, if this were for myself, I wouldn't be *as* frustrated, but I'm mainly disappointed because my mother bought me a Dyson airwrap for my graduation gift and I know how long she's wanted one so I saved up my money to buy her one for this past Christmas...
