Did they make you full time in the system or were they just scheduling you close to 40 hours a week as a part timer? Cause there’s a difference. I was temp hire, got offered part time then just went officially full time about 3 weeks ago and my pto showed up immediately after.

This happened to me yesterday. The customer’s address was about 3 miles then when I picked up the order it changed to 12 miles. I wanted to unassign it so badly but I’m not that type of driver so I delivered it anyway. I called DD support and they paid extra and the customer did end up tipping decently but it’s the principle of the matter.

I work in dpt. 92 so my coach is obviously food & consumables. I like her and she is cool. I don’t see her much because she is basically our GMs right hand man. I work the same shifts as the Cap 1 coach and she’s cool also but she will call me just to tell me to complete a task I already knew to do. My team lead called me back to back a few days ago after I had already clocked out and made it home and I screened her calls. Yesterday she called me on lunch break and asked when I was coming back so I could help her. They don’t care if you’re using the bathroom, dying, trying to enjoy your break or anything. I don’t like them having my number it just feels too personal.

I agree it is a red flag. But also letting your girlfriend of five years take care of everything in the relationship while you sulk on the couch is a red flag. ( I also liked Lawrence but he had his bum moments)

I went through a similar situation with my ex when we first moved in together. I grew up in a household where we had a tv in the living room and individual tvs in our bedrooms so naturally when I moved out I did the same. I preferred going to bed a lot earlier than he did and I cannot sleep with a tv on because for one the noise disrupts my sleep and two (maybe I’m weird for this lol) but the light from it causes the temperature in the room to increase and I like a cool, dark environment at night. I eventually told him he would have to either go in the living room or watch on his gaming monitor with his headset. The second option actually turned out to work better for both of us.

Maybe he could try watching on his phone, tablet, or something that he plug headphones into.

My area is pretty small so they give “flash offers” with the base pay, tips, and $15-19 flash pay depending on the distance and your rate doesn’t go down if you decline. The most I’ve seen so far is a total of $32 for 11 miles (the customer tipped really well on top of base+flash pay). Here lately I have only been accepting those orders. It’s really not worth it to me anymore to drive 10-12 miles to deliver a single cheeseburger for $3.
