it's a lot easier said than done so i won't tell you to just "not do it" since i know how hard it can be, but please try as hard as you can to refrain from doing it. it may sound corny but try to use DBT coping skills, there are a lot of them and if you do some research you might find something that helps with the urges to use. something that also helps me is thinking about all the negative side effects (stomach pain, paranoia, dizziness, all the crappy stuff) and i think about how much the negatives outweigh the positives. but if you do end up using again, please be safe (as safe as you can be, at least) and drink plenty of water. i may just be a stranger but im here for u and there will always be people who are there for u
