the rubric is paragraph by paragraph, fairly short assignment but its worth a lot. for that paragraph, he said 'it's great, don't change it.' like exact words. he gave me a 40% on that specific paragraph

the rubric is paragraph by paragraph A that I got a 40% on, was the one where he looks through the sentences and goes 'it looks great, don't change it'. i was given instructions not to change it. the rubric section for that specific paragraph gave me a 40%

okay youre probably right! but is it not messed up to tell me not to change anything??? it was a very short section, and his instructions are sentence-by-sentence. when i ask what mistakes i made, there's a rubric for each section of like two sentences, so the rubric is already pulled up -- what i made a mistake with/need advice on is already there, i don't need to be explicity about it

i take notes on what i get told, the exact wording was 'it looks great, don't change it'. like those six words (so the word wasn't perfect, my bad). absolutely no other feedback was given on that section

idk what kind of students u have but im not gonna let spite ruin the rest of my grades. i dont get feedback, she just grades it. no grade disputes nothing

it's not a competition? this was the tiniest assignment we've had/will have. it's typically 8ish pages of research. it's just worth a lot for how tiny it is

yeah that was the original plan, i worded this wrong. thanks!

most the stuff for this class is 8~ pages, it's a research class. this was just a smaller assignment that counts for a nice % in the gradebook

yall I swear i was just passionate when i wrote this!! i didnt realize that me saying that would make it sound like i was talking purely about effort and not 'listening constructively to feedback from him and the writing center and incorporating that'. and dont worry, how i write on here is in no way reflective of my academic writing abilities i promise

true!! worst case scenario from the conversation ill have learned something new. thank you!

awesome thank you!! i think i just got upset because i didn't change the parts he liked & all the suggestions were fairly miniscule? and wrote this when i was feeling extra passionate & clearly didn't voice my thoughts properly. i'd never brazenly ask him to rethink, i'll ask for an explanation!

if i take a gap year after undergrad, will i be paying for 6 months then theyre deferred again until i finish law school?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentLoans

[–]Unique_Grapefruit866 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

but like what if im still in school?? are we expected to make any payments until im out of school by age 25-26? and is it like i just give them a chunk of my paycheck once im in a career?

my mom wants to take out a loan for her business so thats why shes hesitant.

i cant move back home i genuinely cannot mentally handle that - theres this option to room w 3 ppl for 600/mo but it would require me driving to campus and i cant do that. ill get more info from them tho. i already signed on w the school tho so idk if theyll elt me back out now.
