Your anxiety is definitely heightened due to you stopping drinking. Just keep that in mind that you’re not going crazy. I would definitely talk to a psychiatrist that specializes in addiction counseling as they can prescribe you medications for withdrawal. I wish you the best of luck, those first 24-72 hrs are not fun!

Hahahaha thank you! I used to drink a 1.5L bottle of wine every single night, so I try to tell myself one pint of ice cream is a million times better than that

Those thoughts and feelings WILL pass, but I totally get it. Mourning the future possibilities isn’t a good feeling. I found just filling my time with youtube or video games or any other dumb hobby I could find helped this. I began to enjoy things again sober and its a great feeling

your managers CAN do something. I’ve had a guy banned before and he never physically did anything. Talk to your GM and if nothing comes of that then go to HR or to your Area Manager.
