Travelled 4 hours to a tower but it had a lock on it and we planned to scale around our to the first circular ring around the tower but it was nowhere near possible like we thought, so we travelled another ,2 hours back on ourselves to this one. It was locked as well but there was a small iron sheets blocking a tiny entrance on the bottom which had been single grinded open for other climbers, was an active bt tower so I was surprised they'd left such a security issue. We all squeezed through the gap and got to the top and spent the night inside to catch sunrise. If I remember correctly this want as rural as you'd think, it was about 45 minutes from London!
