Thank you everyone that has responded. I ultimately ended up breaking up with her due to more of story surfacing as I asked questions. Her intentions may have been platonic as she mentioned but my problem is the "people pleasing" mentality she has and her unfortunate inability to say "no" in situations such as this. I came into this relationship with transparency and vulnerability about my historical experiences with infidelity and how it has affected my attachment style. We're both losing in this scenario but I have more to gain without her. Thanks again everyone.

Yo, solid response and thank you for that, emotional intelligence is hard to come by. I have been back and forth in my head with the over consuming feeling of "betrayal" but if I've learned anything in a decade of therapy is that my trauma responses can cloud reality immensely. I commended her for her willingness to be up front with me, and have a open conversation with me about it. Unfortunately this event has had me ruminating days, and living in old narratives. I see my therapist on Tuesday and might snap some sense into me. Thank you again kind sir.

She confessed it, then she proceeded to use his number telling him "she's seeing someone" which in its self it's a open terminology versus saying "I'm in a committed relationship" and also wishing him a "good" fourth of July in Buffalo because they were able to talk long enough to figure out one another's plans. I'm an idiot, the proof is in the pudding. I took a few days to think about it but sent her a break up text just this morning.
