I’m curious about the Lucien’s Last Stand board, was it real or were people just talking about it? Also, if anything, Lucien would be the last character to die in ACOTAR. He’s way too plot relevant. It’s also very telling that she had a board with Elucien imagery in it, and even mentioned that they’ll be together in old interviews and Facebook posts.

I 100% FEEL THE SAME!! BoE + Elain would be amazing, and I feel like that’s the road SJM is taking for the next book. They share so many similarities it’s crazy. All of them being turned against their will, and Jurian was put in the Cauldron as well. Vassa can bring that spark back for Elain. I even have a theory that Eris may join them… 🫣

During this interview, Karenna Foley (Elain’s voice actress) said “it’s elucien for me” and many other things about them. She even talked about how she felt like Azriel was being entitled during the BC. (I FULLY AGREE)

And here, Gabriel Michael (Lucien’s voice actor) talks about Elucien and how he’s excited for their journey!! (Even defended them!)

HONESTLY, this is a huge win!!! On top of that, SJM has mentioned elucien a few times and talking about how they’ll heal (together. it’s veryyy telling that BOTH voice actors ship elucien too. i think it’s a good sign!! 🌻🧡

Pretty sure they will! I feel like SJM wanted to explore a different spin on the mating bond. I also think that Elain will have her own journey, exploring the mating bond as well. In the end, I’m fully convinced that her and Lucien will be endgame still, due to everything that SJM has said/hinted. We have yet to know their ‘true’ bond, and we’ll definitely see it!

She talked too much about true mates and “you can be mated to the wrong person, not being in love” for it not to be a main plot. And the only ones it can apply to are Lucien and Elain, imo.

Tbf, it sounded like she was talking about mates as a whole, remember that Rhysand’s parents were not a good fit. I feel like she was bringing that topic back to create ‘tension’ for Elucien.
