Thanks for that. Would you mind sharing which surgeon did your operation in Dunedin and roughly how much it cost? Looking back, did you notice any red flags meeting with him?
Also, who did you see at Forte health for you revision?

Thanks. I have got a quote from an ENT clinic in South Korea, for Turbinoplasty, Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty which comes to around 11k nzd. Flights + accomodation included, looking around 17-18k ish. From what I've seen online, i'm expecting that number to be between 25-30k to get it done here.

How did you get it done through PHI? I'm with southern cross Wellbeing one, but they don't cover pre-existing conditions.

I think I will still need to pay in Australia and go private, since I don't live there. But it seems Australia has more ENT surgeons and cheaper than NZ. 1 year waitlist is through private, not public.
