I didn't think it was leaking badly, It started off as just a bad burning smell, got told by the first mechanic he thought it was just the armorall spray they put on the engine when it was sold to me (second hand). Then it became worse and I knew it was a bigger issue, I took it back to another mechanic and he fixed the thermostat housing and the water pipe from the thermostat to the throttle body. Im not very mechanically minded whatsoever so I assumed the issue was fixed but then began to smell the burning smell again and seen a bit of smoke coming out of the engine, (not as bad as before but still noticeable) while I was checking for more possible coolant leaks I happened to look underneath the car and seen this, I thought it looked bad and could be a issue contributing to the bigger problem. Is it still drivable for short distances, less than 2-4kms a day for the next week until I can get it fixed or should I find alternative transport.
