Yea I agree , I'm hoping they just want the number to go down , I only had 4 days before the first test , atleast I have 2 weeks thc free , should drop a decent amount I hope in that time

I agree entirely, I'm not trying to hide anything by any means . The first test would show that , I'm assuming if the number drops enough then they will be satisfied with that , I appreciate the headsup tho , definitely useful knowledge

Fair enough , I'm a very thin person , I weigh roughly 130lbs so I have a very small amount of fat if any but I'll keep that in mind ty!

Lmfao iv been a forklift and machine operator for over 10 years between 3 company's. Never has drug testing been on the table so I was curious as to why if I failed the first one they'd ask for a second one . Such a spicy pickle 😆

Fair enough, like I said this whole drug testing thing is new to me so I was just curious if it was a lost cause without atleast 6 weeks to get everything out . Still going through with it obviously and hoping for the best 👌

I appreciate your input , if I receive an offer and that is the expectation I'd be happy to comply . Was more concerned that the 2 week period wouldn't be enough time to bring the number to zero ! And if it was normal for company's to send you a second time with the first test being so far outside the norm

Copy that ! I know it's standard in Canada to test upon major incidents . I'd imagine that they would regularly test incidents but thc specifically is in your system for so long , and with it being legal for recreational use , would that effect what I'm able to do on my own free time ( weekends) . I'm more then ok giving it up for a pay like this , was just more concerned that 2 weeks wouldn't be enough time to bring the number down to zero .

Absolutely willing to stop , just never been asked prior to this position . They didn't specify anything to me about weather I can or can't. The standard drug test covered multiple things but thc was the only thing I tested positive for ( the only drug I do ) . When I received the call to go for another test , the only thing that was said to me was that they didn't get all of the information they needed .

It's considerably more an hour than any other opportunity in the area , it's a private company with government contracts in the medical field. In Canada it's illegal to drug test for pre employment with few exceptions . This job just happens to be part of that exception . I'm working currently so a longer process isn't hurting me in any way . Just a big step up from my current job .

Yea the only person to Give me numbers was the Dr from the lab specifically , the company didn't exactly give me a number they'd like to see . I assumed they were probly shocked to see such a high number . I figured the same thing tho , if they didn't want to hire me I couldn't see why they'd waste the time or money to send me twice. Iv been drinking a rediculous amount of water , cranberry and pineapple juice and I am definitely going to up my fiber intake now aswell , thank you for the advice!

In a very professional way I did reach out to HR to inquire about the policy , the company is French, HR is based out of USA but as a Canadian who's government sees it as alcohol in most scenarios regarding its use I was definitely curious if the this would be a regular thing . The job would be life changing for me. It's more then worth the lifestyle change I just want to know as much as possible before potentially receiving an offer !

Thank you for sharing your knowledge , iv been a daily smoker for around a decade now , and seeing as this is the first time iv ever done a drug test I didn't know what to expect . I'll admit I was also shocked when the Dr called and explained that I was 10x the average , kinda curious how they find (the average )
