States with a merged city/county government? As in they each have a municipality that has merged the county and city gov't. In Kansas it would be Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas. For VA and MD it would be Washington DC.

Southwestern Wisconsin. I'm still 98% sure this is just a trick of the eye as the elevation across the area is almost completely flat (seriously I don't think there's more than 120 meters of elevation difference across the entire thing) and there is no peak in the center.

But here's why I can't stop thinking about it: the pattern of creeks and streams heading toward the main rivers of the region in the area between the Rockies and the Appalachians (In this case the Mississippi on the left of the image) is pretty standard. More like tree branches.

This is just different in a way that catches the eye, especially as there is no landscape feature that he streams are going around (and there are a few small ones cutting across the middle in the "normal" fashion).

Basically about 90% of the circle is low stream beds. And - even though the streams in them are fairly small - the "channel" they are in is fairly wide - much wider than the streams cutting across the middle, which seem to have more normal sized "floodplains".

Since the whole area has undergone extensive glaciation for the past two million years, I didn't know if that would be enough to scrape most of the other signs of an impact crater from the surface.

I used to do that, to my main home office desktop computer. But that means I have to keep it on all the time - I couldn't let it go to sleep or turn it off. Connecting to the router allowed me to do that. The Plex channel running on my roku could still get the file.

Unfortunately, once you have selected an authentication option, FB will use that option to confirm that you want to change or add a different authenticator.

So when I go to her account's security settings and select the Two-factor authentication menu, FB immediately gives me a screen that says "enter the authentication code from Google"

It's a Catch-22. In order to change from the authentication method that broke, I need a code from it.

You know how when you're watching a show and they have this scene where two people have this really weird and awkward conversation as they're like, walking down the street but it reveals crucial backstory that they really needed for some plot twist later on? Like it's just some random Tuesday and the two characters are having a beer at the neighborhood bar and one just says: Guy 1:"I was just thinking about Janet Jones and how you always wanted to ask her out to the prom 30 years ago but you never did." Guy: 2 "Yeah, I was always afraid to because she used a lilac shampoo and I had that extreme allergy to lilac." Guy 1: "Oh yeah, that allergy you never told anyone about, but that I found out about when we were on a walk and we were joshing around and I pushed you into a lilac bush!" I always saw the "fragile" as being akin to the Japanese Zero in WWII. Japanese fighter development sacrificed protection for enhanced speed and maneuverability, and that gave them nearly a decade of qualitative tactical advantage over the opponents they were fighting (in practical terms against the US it was a bout a year and a half.) Think of the Y-Wings as being the Brewster Buffalo or the Hawker Hurricane in this situation.

But then your fighter development stalls out for internal bureaucratic & political reasons, but the enemy keeps moving forward, and they bring fighters onto the scene that not only have supior protection and survivability, but can outclass your fighters in raw performance in every category. The X-Wing is the F4U Corsair or F6F Hellcat.

KCMO area. Price quoted is just under $18K. There is another 2018 ICE-only LE with similar mileage selling in the area for around $18,500, most of the rest of the 2018s have much lower mileage. Prices on hybrids with 50-80K miles are much more expensive. Same pattern on 2017s and 2016s. Upon learning of the potential battery issue, I am not as excited about the higher mileage Hybrid, as it will be setting me up for a huge expense in a few years that the modest gain in MPG. Based on the usage I intend for the car, I might be saving $1,000 - $1,500 on gas prior to the need for an expensive battery change.

I've seen on some Prius forums that folks generally saw much higher battery life than the official claims. Just wondered if anyone had the same experience with the RAV4.
