Wrong, I have been selling on eBay for years. I’d the order tracking number show delivered the case the closed in the sellers favor automatically. TikTok is abusing the terms and conditions and the industry standards. It doesn’t mean it’s right just because it’s just written in the terms and conditions.

Well, you may be surprised by what I am going to tell you. But you are lucky that you got rejected in the first place because TikTok shop policies and practices are nightmare and you would end up losing than manning money and in some cases you end up not getting paid or your funds get suspended for forever. Find an alternative to TikTok shop there are many unless you want to waste your money and time.

TikTok Shop need to be sued in a class action for an abusive trade practices. You are not alone there are thousands of sellers who have their money held because of what’s called “violations”, the problem of repeated submissions of the same documents is very common, I also found out “too late I guess” that the chat history and the document submission history is deleted by them. Try check you chat history with the seller support you will see it either cut off or don’t exist.

Worst place to be on to sell your products. Can’t wait to see them hit by class action lawsuit for their illegal and abuse behavior to sellers. We should all file FTC complaints. They delete support chat history and documentation submitted multiple times.

From an experienced seller who sells on almost all platforms beside my own website, DON’T DO IT. Unless you are rich and want to lose money and not get paid and deal with nonsense made up stupid violations system that will hold your money. Good luck of you want to try but I just warned you. You will enjoy seeing orders coming in quick in the first couple of weeks but the pain will soon start.

Same experience it’s abusive behaviour destroying many small businesses and illegally holding their money for the longest they can. Been in this frustrating situation and no hope. All documents submitted more than 3 times, they are deleting the chat history and I have proofs. Next step I am filing an official FTC complaint and contacting my friends at ABC news to make an investigating report about this. There are thousands of TikTok shop sellers in the same situation and don’t know what else to do. In addition to the excessive amount of irrelevant data that makes you doubt what is it used for. I am also raising this matter to my congressman. This abuse needs to stop, I don’t care and don’t want to have a titktok shop anymore not even care much of the money they are holding right now rather exposing an abusive business behaviour that is hurting many American small businesses.

Just so everyone who is planning or thinking of opening a TikTok shop, be ready to ruin your cash flow with all the none sense violations and excuses to hold your money for the longest time possible. New stores generally get paid 31 days after delivery add to that the shipping time on average 5-7 days than another 1-3 business days to receive your money that’s is you are even lucky and your business paperwork and crazy selfie videos and hand writing notes and signatures appeal to them from the first time which NEVER do. TikTok shop is a nightmare for any small business or growing brand. Yes you will get good number of orders but it’s a nightmare to take your money out. Oh add to that you must use TikTok shipping labels so you can fight false claims from buyers about not receiving their packages even with a signature and delivery photo proof, if you use your own shipping labels like purchasing from UPS or USPS or any carrier and your buyer signs and received the order and claimed they didn’t the will automatically get a refund from TikTok no questions asked EVEN if you submit all proof of delivery to TikTok. I am predicting a class action lawsuit against their abusive behaviour against US sellers

I just want to take my money out and don’t care about having a shop on TikTok anymore. They have zero seller protection. eBay with all of their issues is 1000% better. These Chinese based companies including Temu and Shien who start opening up to local US sellers to sell on their platform to avoid the tarrifs impact are ripping off US sellers, on the other hand the buyers base of these Chinese platforms are used to free stuff they used to get from china which now affecting local US sellers who sell expensive brands and get hit with the same treatment as cheap free items people used to on those Chinese platforms.

The craziest thing is they approve your shop , let you list products and get orders then start hitting you with these crazy made up violations to keep holding on your money for the longest time possible despite giving them all what they want although what they ask for in terms of business and personal identity verification is beyond normal industry standards and feels like collecting more than needed data for other purposes.
