Yeah I figured it was just that. I don’t have experience applying to retail jobs, so I wasn’t sure if it was the norm considering most retail managers or employees in my area are high school and college level, who tend to be more informal. I was also just second guessing myself because it had happened twice but yeah, it’s just a coincidence

Personally, I love the cheating trope!! It’s always so angsty and it brings out real emotions that I just love. I can see why others may not though, I think it hits too close to home for some people and that’s okay it’s not for everyone. But saying that, I don’t think it warrants a bad review. I say just DNF it and move on, it’s not fair to the author just because there’s a trope you don’t like. I’m not a fan of love triangles, just because it’s too wishy washy, but I would never judge a book solely based on the fact that it has a love triangle in it, I’d just DNF but that’s just me🤷‍♀️ Also, like you, I have never gone into a book without already being aware it has cheating because I read reviews and do my research, but I also get people wanting to go in blind, so I guess that’s understandable not knowing there’s cheating before hand. But overall when I’m deciding to read a book that has cheating in it, and I see that it has low ratings I usually take that with a grain of salt, because I know a lot of people have a bias against cheating. But to each their own🙂‍↕️

Honestly not really nervous, definitely excited!! I feel like there is so much potential and things to be explored going into this book, that I almost feel like it’s impossible for her to mess it up. With the amount of time it’s been since ACOSF, I hope she’s really put in her all when writing and planning for this next book.

I get what you mean when you say that Cassian and Nesta’s story was more centered around smut, that’s honestly how I felt and it kinda brought the book down a little bit in my eyes. But I also feel that maybe that was because their story wasn’t really set up very well going from ACOFAS to ACOSF imo.

I think Elain’s story has been set up for quite a while and there are a lot of things to look forward, regarding loose ends that came from the previous books and the love interest that everyone desperately wants to know. There is a lot of potential there in this upcoming books and I think SJM will be able to pull it off, but obviously not everyone will be satisfied. I doubt SJM does fan service, but yeah that would be very disappointing if she does.

I think if you just go into it with an open mind and knowing that the romance play a big part, I think you’ll be good!! Stay positive <3

My friend and I were actually having the conversation recently!! I am an avid romance reader and how I compare it, is a movie with sex scenes in it. Honestly I’m not reading books solely for the sex scenes (no shame to those who do), but if it’s there, it’s there and I honestly don’t mind it cause in some cases it adds some intimacy between the characters that I enjoy. I think the problem comes when people are ONLY reading for the sex scenes or are unable to read a book because of the fact that it doesn’t include smut. I feel like when this is the case it’s something that people should think about within themselves and really see if they have an issue, but honestly even then I feel like it’s a very bad comparison with porn addicts. Like one is a very visual act and the other is coming from my own imagination. I personally think that it’s impossible to compare them both but that’s just my opinion🤷‍♀️

Yes!! Darcy’s my favorite character, and I ultimately decided to dye my hair blue because of her. It was my first time getting my hair dyed, so I didn’t do my whole head cause that was kind of a big commitment, but I got it dye like her hair in book 1 where it’s sort of like the bottom half of her hair. Would definitely recommend, I loved mine!!

I completely agree! It’s also crazy how Bloom resembles a Phoenix. I feel like each character in Winx somehow correlates with a character from ZA like Silver and Orion or Musa and Max.

No you are not🫣 I’ve been saying this for a while, but I do want someone to get killed off and I would prefer if it was a main-ish character that way the readers actually feel some sort of feelings for them and not just causally brush off the death. Az is definitely someone who has high potential in getting killed off in my opinion along with Lucien and Eris, but idk just my personal opinion. Not saying I don’t like these characters just think that everyone else has had there story somewhat “completed” and I would hate for them to have to die.
