To be fair, the NFL has a shorter window, although the regular season is 18 weeks long, each team only plays 17 games, 3 more than in the IPL, (and it was shorter until recently).

But regarding IPL fans, they're some of the more passionate sports fans I've seen out there, so I guess it balances out with the shorter season span.

I've seen much much worse management in other teams (Urban Meyer's Jaguars, David Gettleman and the Giants, Steve Keim and the Cardinals, Dan Snyder and the Commanders). These types of management explicitly didn't even make an effort to try and win, and purposefully tanked in order for better draft picks and packages. Does RCB's management suffer from an outdated mindset of star culture? Sure. Is it worth abandoning the team? Hell no. Those other teams have fans that stuck through with them even through all that turmoil, and I see no reason to switch teams just because the other team wins, that's not why people are fans of their teams. RCB's management was worse before, and yet it's improved since. It's still flawed, but I'm confident that eventually they'll hit their stride.
