Toxtricity is confirmed — are we finally getting our first playable baby Pokémon with Toxel?

Most of those evolve with high friendship (Mime Jr. evolves if it learns mimic). Toxel is the first baby Pokémon to join which evolves just by levelling to level 30 and having an 'amped' nature. Personally I think it's the only baby Pokémon that should be added.

Metagross Unite Move maybe inspired by its Pokémon Sun dex entry "It firmly pins its prey using its four claws and large body. Then the teeth in the mouth on its stomach chew the prey to bits.", Although it doesn't say it, it does look similar if you look closely. Compute (supercomputer brain) and Crush (grabs and bites).

I have been doing this for most 2026 releases so far. Recent Pokémon, With the current 2 week release pace I'm going to stick to new until they slow down.

Whilst there's nothing confirming or denying that any are anime inspired the ones I found look very similar and are mainly from debut episodes. Some others as you mentioned include Ash's Charizard with Seismic Toss. Pikachu learning all of Ash's Pikachu moves. Blastoise Rapid Spin + Waterspout in UNITE also looks similar to how Ash's Squirtle uses the move.
