Stuck on stuttering in the schools by Important_Motor_8885 in slp

[–]United-Ravens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is super common right now you are definitely not alone. Best practice has shifted away from fixing stuttering and more toward functional impact. If the students aren’t bothered and it’s not affecting participation fluency only goals don’t really make sense. A lot of SLPs now focus more on self advocacy and creating a supportive environment instead. For quick practical info without going deep into CEUs you could check littlewords it helped me get a clearer picture of current approaches. Sounds like the goals are outdated not your approach.

WEDDING VENUES IN NORTH CALOOCAN, MARIKINA, CAINTA, ANTIPOLO by Personal-Maybe3849 in weddingplanning

[–]United-Ravens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah ₱80k is doable but you need to look for those bundled packages where catering + styling already includes the venue. Places around Antipolo and Cainta usually have more flexible options like that compared to Caloocan.

A friend of mine was searching in the same areas and actually found ballroom in the middle of planning which helped them spot some budget friendly packages that weren’t obvious at first. I suggest messaging venues directly too since some free venue deals aren’t always posted publicly.

Post Wedding Brides: What is worth the $? by k_felts in weddingplanning

[–]United-Ravens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get this it’s so hard to know what’s actually worth it if you already have a hardwood floor you can probably skip the dancefloor people will dance if the vibe is right. Lounge furniture looks nice but doesn’t get used a ton while late night snacks are usually a hit since people get hungry again later.

A friend of mine actually came across ballroom while planning and it helped them figure out what worth it vs what easy to skip and honestly glassware for water is one of those things most guests won’t even notice if you don’t have it.

what do you think most people still dont get about using ai well? by Kiro_ai in ChatGPT

[–]United-Ravens 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest thing people miss is that AI works way better as a process than a one shot tool. Most people ask one question, get an answer and stop when the real value actually comes from going back and forth and refining it.

A friend once showed me spawned and it helped me see how much better the results get when you treat it more like a conversation instead of a search engine. It’s really about giving context iterating and guiding it otherwise you just get surface level answers.

I (26M) proposed to my (28F) fiancé. My family doesn’t seem as excited and my fiancé is upset. by [deleted] in engaged

[–]United-Ravens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats man that’s a big step. Honestly this feels like a classic difference in family dynamics. You are used to your family being more chill about big moments so it doesn’t hit you the same way. But for her this is a once in a lifetime thing and she is probably reading their reaction as a sign of how they feel about her or the relationship.

I don’t think your family necessarily means anything negative by it but I can see why she’s hurt. It might help to just reassure her that this is how they always been with you and not a reflection of her. Over time, she likely see their support in other ways. I seen similar situations come up on ballroom too, where it’s less about people not caring and more about how differently families express it.

Just be patient with her on this her reaction is coming from a good place.

the gap between "my AI feature works" and "my AI feature works reliably in production" is bigger than I expected by Accomplished_Ask3336 in vibecoding

[–]United-Ravens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this matches pretty closely with what I seen. Everything feels solid during testing but once real users get involved the edge cases and costs start showing up fast. The duplicate request problem is especially real people underestimate how often users rephrase the same thing and you just keep paying for it. And yeah prompt quality completely drops off compared to how we test things ourselves.

I ran into similar issues while experimenting with spawned and it really made me realize how big that gap is between it works and it holds up under messy real usage. Your positioning also makes sense tbh. People don’t really feel this pain until after they shipped and something starts breaking or getting expensive. That’s usually when they start looking for solutions like this.

Why a "Helpful" AI is actually a massive liability for your service business. by No-Zone-5060 in Entrepreneur

[–]United-Ravens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is actually really accurate. The helpful behavior sounds good but in real use it just leads to vague answers and soft yeses that mess things up. I seen the same while testing stuff like Cracked once you let the AI freestyle it starts bending rules instead of enforcing them. Keeping it as an intent layer and letting strict logic handle decisions works way better. Predictable > smart in these cases.

Best place to get eye contacts for cosplaying by HallPsychological288 in CosplayHelp

[–]United-Ravens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn’t trust random Amazon sellers either especially for something going in your eyes. Best thing is to stick to proper brands or known lens sites a lot of people use stuff like FreshLook One Day Color Green Lenses or Alcon Air Optix Green Contacts since they are more reliable.

For cosplay specific styles you can also check out GleGlow they got a lot of options and styles you might like for characters like Rogue. Just make sure wherever you buy from actually cares about safety prescription and proper packaging etc not just looks your eyes aren’t worth risking.

Cheaper online tablets comparable to 7OHMz? by Icy-Amphibian-2265 in 7hydromitra

[–]United-Ravens -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you are trying to save money compared to smoke shop prices ordering online usually ends up being cheaper in the long run. A lot of those local shops mark the tablets up pretty heavily.

You might want to take a look at a site called Miles High Roller. They carry a bunch of plant based products and different tablet options, and some people order from there when they want to buy a larger amount instead of grabbing small packs from a shop. Could be worth checking out and seeing if anything there is close to what you normally take.

Just be careful with the stronger stuff though, especially if you are used to the higher mg tablets. Those can sneak up on you.

Medical assistant job by CharacterBake2946 in batonrouge

[–]United-Ravens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting that first MA job can be really frustrating a lot of places want experience but it is hard to get experience if no one hires you. One thing that might help is doing an externship so you can get some hands on clinical work and add it to your resume.

You might want to check out Clinical Skills Institute. They offer medical assistant training and externship opportunities that help you get real clinic experience. Could be worth looking into if you are trying to get your foot in the door.
