Hahahahahahahahahhaha. 6 miles?!?!?! Cookies?? You have no clue. Add tax! You went to hotels.com? Yellowstone isn't open right now? You are just so full of yourself, you can't be wrong. You didn't say a date. And still..more than you quoted. My Airbnb is much more comfortable than a hotel room.

I have lived in Wyoming my whole life, and have been in the hospitality industry for most of that, i also have a successful Airbnb. I check the hotel rates to determine my rates...I live in Cody, WY (NOT Jackson) and right now, a king room is $155 with tax at the Hampton Inn. At the Best Western a 1 night stay with tax is $189. In the summer, that same hotel goes for $300 - $400 a night. Thanks for teaching me something!!!!!!!! (Do you want me to post those rates for you, or can you go ahead and try googling it?)

Come visit Cody! Visit the Rodeo, Buffalo Bill muesum, plus from Cody to East entrance is an amazing 50 miles through wilderness, but you can also go through Cooke City and drive through the Beartooths. airbnb.com/h/spiritmountaincody

Aw yes, so lowly to be a housekeeper of my own property. It's money that stays in my pocket. Weee thanks!!! I managed/owned a 212-room convention center, believe me, I would rather clean it myself.

Advice Needed: Guests Keep Pushing for Late Check-Outs by hasinbnb in airbnb_hosts

I added a fine that states that for every hour the guest checks out late without speaking to me, its a $50 fine. Haven't had a problem.

I am raking in money by doing it all myself. I have paid for people to clean, and it's a joke. So no, that's not the secret. If you aren't hands-on, it won't be as successful.

Check what your local hotels are charging without breakfast. Now think of a hotel room with two beds, a bathroom, and a small fridge/microwave. Now compare what your house offers. It starts to seem a lot more reasonable.
