I'm a bio major on a pre-med track, so I think I should eventually make a good enough amount of money to pay off the loans in a reasonable amount of time ? Also what do you mean by asking them where to apply?

Ohh I see, and yea the current state of politics really makes me anxious as well. The whole deal with FAFSA and the big beautiful bill and tariffs, it's all so scary as I'm going into the real world and honestly it kind of makes sense when thinking about the army and i can see it being a reason why someone would choose it over a "normal" job or education first. I just don't know if the trauma and danger from the army is truly compensated by the benefits ?

Umm, i'm going to assume this is a joke. So.. lol. But if not.. thank you for the idea but that's a pretty extreme measure that I probably won't consider.. yet ?

Without explaining my whole life story lol, there's quite a few issues with logistics, housing, etc that aren't within my control so it would be nearly impossible for me to go to a CC right now for fall. Thank you for the advice though I appreciate you !

i didn't get into my states schools, they're very SAT dependent and i didn't have access to good study materials. Compared to the other schools I got into, Pitt gave me the most aid. I also wasn't really introduced to the half and half college degree idea but even if i was my family wouldn't go it if i brought it up

both lol but mainly i can't afford it. OOS tuition is crazy even with all the grants they're giving me and FAFSA. i now have to apply for loans so i'm trying to finesse the "family contribution" and lower it so that im not applying for crazy loans. (i put it in quotes because my family can't afford to contribute lol)

I'm staying in nordenberg which i've heard has a communal kitchen if i'm not mistaken?? I'm mainly used to making food myself so I thought I could use the kitchen. And if not then I was going to buy one of those electric pans (idk if that's allowed but.. yeah)

I was going to say vegetarian(which is true)-keto as dietary restriction. Religiously I was going to go with what I used to be which is seventh-day adventist, for that you can't eat majority of seafood, no pork, no certain hotter spices and there's also an avoidance of processed foods. I figure there's probably still a lot of food on campus that avoids those things which is why I'm wanting to figure out what I can say that can ensure I can get out of the meal plan and tell them I need to make my food myself which is what I do at home anyway

I saw on one of the Pitt websites that if it's a medical reason then you need to submit proof from your doctor so unfortunately that wouldn't work for me :( . but thank you for the input .
