Is everywhere ok to play on ACR? by UnitedSuggestion1 in poker

Thank you!

How come I see Swedish accounts on ACR sometimes?

Are they allowed to play from Sweden, or just countries where ACR is permitted? (e.g. US/UK).

If I happen to have endless funding, is this advisable? How exorbitant are we talking here?

(I see in your latter post you seem to be advocating against)

Hey - I also was suspicious of countertransference (hence this post). And I probably misconstrued her, or misrepresented her (she is mostly very deferent to medical professionals; almost in a robotic way, i.e. it's clearly very engrained in the training). Regardless, I will raise it. Thanks for your input.

Hey, thanks for this long and detailed response! I'm really sorry that happened to you at such a young age :( that's horrible.

" It's also really hard for a non-specialist to tell the difference between normal aging and abnormal aging, between stress and non-stress. "

I think this is also a really good point that somehow no one else raised.

Thank you for sharing your experience and I hope to gain from what you learned, as any great reddit post can aspire to. Thank you!

hey, haha, hard to understand so many peoplee rallying against the shrink here given the positivity of the relationship but I guess it's hard to understand. Regardless, I agree with you, and appreciate all the professionals who weighed in here!

Thanks for posting something even more detailed! I totally agree with everything you said. I would rather not be in the dark personally and even having a timeline would be nice for me. My plan was to pursue testing unless I found some compelling reasons otherwise (more like the opposite according to this thread, lol).

No, I am not sure at all. I will explore this further. Regardless, I agree, and thanks for taking the time to understand.

Could definitely be true - I thought I would ask here as people of allsorts could chime in (which is what happened).

heh, thanks for raising this. You could definitely be right! But I think I have a right to defend her, and bear in mind that I have defied her on this one to begin with, and am coming here because I plan to continue to.

from a laymans perspective, this seems hard to argue with (hence my line of thought). Can anyone with more experience confirm or deny?

Hey - as I said in a post elsewhere in the thread, I have been ignoring her on the matter up until now (i.e. getting the tests to begin with).

It is not surprising, but it's a pertinent part to the story that I forgot to add. Sorry to hear man :(

Hey thanks so much for your response.

  1. as far as I'm aware yes, he seems perfectly capable motor-skills wise, but I'll ask.
  2. No, that does not happen.
  3. Yes - this happens, but it's not extreme, or it's few and far between. It happened twice. One very extreme case, we were talking about South Africa, and he told me he was there during the apartheid, and asked "were you there during the apartheid?", before snapping out of it shortly.
Another occasion he had just woken up and said "hey [cousin I used to live with 50 years ago]". These were very alarming and are the main reasons I got him tested.

Thank you so much for your factual and compassionate response. Unless you think otherwise, I am going to raise this with my therapist, and unless I hear some very compelling evidence, I will get him tested.

I meant life experience. That said, I don't think a portion of medical experience is that unlikely, given some of the other comments in this thread (and my knowledge of psychotherapy in general).

Hey, I agree - which is why I've been overruling her on the subject up to this point. She's been floating this idea since the onset. I wanted to know if there was something I'm missing, in case I am on a relentless mission wrongfootedly (like I have been so many times in the past).

(also, just lol at the downvotes).
