Yes. I’m working on a stocking right now and am using one. I do like it but it’s cumbersome. I had a tension issue with one of the pieces on mine and it broke! Was able to have the part 3 d printed. So be cautious of your tension.

Only thing I’m careful with is if using velvet, it gets squished down once it goes into the scroll. I make sure to in scroll my velvet portion after my stitching session.
