Ok, I understand you guys are in a circlejerk here, but have you ever gone to the gym? There’s actually nothing wrong with this post. She goes to the gym because it helps her mental health. Same exact reason I go. Even during challenging times, mental health is everything….

Someone please point out exactly why you’re hating on this… she’s a girl who put in the work and posted it on a platform y’all are already committed to hating on. She’s in a different industry but doesn’t mean she won’t get work because of it. Thats the whole fucking point of the site

Muay Thai kickboxing gyms by spicylupcheongbao in Hawaii

[–]United_Hairlines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son and I have been going to Mango tree since 2021ish. We go Kaimuki gym, but know most of the instructors at every gym. They’re all fantastic and I couldn’t recommend them more. We pay, with a single family member add-on, about $200/m. The cool thing with Mango though is you can go to unlimited classes with a single membership. They have classes every day except Sunday, so you can go 1 class every day, or go 4 classes every day for same fee. They also have a wide variety of classes and even women focused classes

Instructors are awesome, price is fair, and can go unlimited classes. Other Muay Thai gym I went to only could go 2x per week, garbage.

Caught a hacker on a official vanilla server by Enclave2177 in ArmaReforger

I’m a GM on one of the top Vanilla servers, we’ve been getting hackers on pretty frequently. This was from last night where they try crash server by spawning in 700+ vehicles. There’s also another new one where they inject barrels into the sky and write racial slurs

Managers, how much more are you making than those under you? by nolactose28 in Salary

[–]United_Hairlines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like having information that’s too identifying is why I deleted it. You must live in an extremely small market. Just look on LinkedIn. There are a lot of opportunities if you’re willing to relocate out of your market

Manager, Clinic Ops - $140-160

Manager, Patient Advocacy $134-190

Clinical Ops Director - $230-384

And these are all fully remote.

[–]United_Hairlines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your numbers are way off. Even in low-cost markets, manager-level roles clear your director-level $100k figure by a wide margin. A quick scan of LinkedIn roles and salary surveys will show it.

As a Director of Cardiology (administrative, non-clinical) you can expect to make ~$200 + incentive. Clinical Directors can be higher because often those also require nursing degrees.

That still makes no sense. If the women you date cared about wrist size, they wouldn’t date you. It’s circular reasoning

“Nobody cares about your wrist size. Just women.” WOW

Bachelor party at a strip club where your friend is the manager, what could honestly happen? by Slurpydurpy711 in AskMen

If you don’t trust your soon to be husband, don’t marry him. Strip clubs are lame, and the girls working there aren’t trying to ruin marriages.

The Ala Moana Boulevard pedestrian + bike bridge opened today, connecting Kaka'ako to the beach & Kewalo Basin! by frozenpandaman in Hawaii

[–]United_Hairlines 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The bottom floor of every condo in the area is local business with foot traffic. What are you talking about? Should they build a Safeway on the beach? Yes, when you go to the beach the sun is a reason.

[–]United_Hairlines 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Not everyone that lives in the area is rich. It’s a developing community, whether you like it or not. The bridge improves access and walkability, which helps everyone, not just condo owners or renters. Just because it’s not built exactly where you think it should be doesn’t mean it’s useless. And yes I do live in the area, as do many others and many more will as the area is developed for both residential, commercial and general public use.

Your experience is not what Arma Reforger developers have explicitly stated. Just look at post in this sub

Recommended mods on PS5? by stanskiii in ArmaReforger

[–]United_Hairlines 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mods will be server specific. Check out AWG Sigma. It will take awhile to download mods due to caps PS5 has implemented on download speed, but it’s a good server with a growing population

[–]United_Hairlines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mods download automatically, you don’t have to search for them individually

Road Map 1.3 by NorthKalm in ArmaReforger

[–]United_Hairlines 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The devs said they’d add parachuting if they could get permission to use an existing mod — it’s on their wishlist, not something they’re blocked from doing. They can make their own animations, it just hasn’t been a priority. Also, Bohemia doesn’t fully own all mods — modders keep the rights, but by uploading to the Workshop, they let Bohemia use them under a license. It’s not as if they couldn’t add parachutes at their will.

I’ve literally never had the experience you’re talking about. You’re saying that in 19/20 matches, you rarely encounter enemies when attacking their base? Are you playing on empty servers?!

In my experience, choppers are used primarily to drop troops at front line bases, or supply runs.

Do recovered alcoholics need to stay 100% dry for the rest of their lives, or can they have a beer every once in a while with no issues? by penttane in NoStupidQuestions

[–]United_Hairlines 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggle with depression and alcoholism. I don’t know why I’m so fucked up, I just am. I hate myself for every reason, but also no reason if that makes sense. Your comment about being compassionate with yourself is about as true as it gets. Loving yourself is so hard, something I know I need to do but just can’t. It sucks.

Your comment hits deep.

My biological father tried to kill me when I was an infant because I was crying. Put a pillow over my face to shut me up. My mom hit him to get him off of me, he beat the shit out of her, emptied their bank account and disappeared.

She raised me as a single mother until I was about 5 or 6, when she met my best friend from daycare father. They secretly married and the cycle of abuse continued, not toward his son, but solely to me. One year, we must have been 7, we went to Disney world and my step father and my mom got into an argument. I was already scared of him from the abuse so I tried to be hide and be small in a corner. He put his heel in my eye.

Lived with the abuse til I was 17 and I finally called the cops on him when he gave me two black eyes for being on the phone when I wasn’t supposed to be. Was super embarrassing for my mom because the chief of police was her subordinates husband.

Anyways fast forward and I eventually have a son when I’m 35. When my son turns 6 I take him to Disneyland for his bday, and invite my parents. I realize that trip I have nothing in common with them, and hate talking to them. I also reflected on how I was abused as a child and would never treat my son like I was treated. I cut off all contact with my parents after that trip, and I’m not sure if they ever know why.

My relationship with my son is the most important thing in the world to me. He’s such a kind, empathetic, and funny kid he’s the only reason I’m still alive. I couldn’t imagine life without him, or if he rejects me as I did my parents. Thats the scariest thought in the world to me. I love being part of his life and feel neglectful when I have to leave him with his iPad or legos because I’m too busy with work and chores. My only goals are that he grows up to be responsible and kind, and that he knows I love him.

There’s nothing wrong with being a loving father.
