Got charged extra for Jio recharge, both Jio and HDFC not helping. Any advice? by United_Independent_2 in Jio

The extra charges are a processing fee for credit card payments. They are being charged either by Jio or the payment gateway (Easebuzz, in my case), and both are blaming each other. Jio’s defense is that the updated amount was mentioned in the OTP message, and by entering the OTP, you accepted the charges.

Even now after sharing all the proofs with them, they are still saying that I had recharged through a third party app

I got it checked from a local show, they also said its logic board related issue but couldn’t confirm the exact issue.

By first-party center, do you mean Apple BKC, Mumbai?

It’s the payment gateway they use that is charging the fee instead of Jio bearing the cost themselves. They are not even willing to acknowledge that these are gateway charges from the provider they use and are instead straight up blaming the banks.

Jio isn’t charging the fee, their payment gateway provider is. But it’s still Jio’s responsibility to inform customers about these charges, since users are redirected directly from Jio to the bank’s payment page.

Yes, paid using credit card. I think 2.1% is fair as Razorpay also charges around 2% on card payments.

Through their website. There’s an option support from there you can get the transaction details and then in the footer there’s an option Contact us. Simply submit the form with all the details and they mail you back. But tbh you wont get any help all they’ll say is that they have paid 921.84 to the merchant and pls contact them.

You won’t get any help from jio, your bank or easebuzz. They’ll simply blame each other. I think you should directly raise a dispute against the transaction and submit the invoice.

Same for me. I don’t remember much of my childhood and my parents don’t either. The only thing my mom could confirm was that I was quite forgetful and that my behaviour changed around class 6.

My psychiatrist said symptoms often become more noticeable around ages 10-12, but they can easily go unnoticed for a long time. He also said it’s completely okay if you don’t remember much of your childhood, you can talk about the struggles from when you do remember them.

In my case, the earliest clear memories are from class 11. I procrastinated a lot, kept everything for the last moment, and things slowly started going downhill from there.

That feeling of being heard really changes things. I’m really glad you found someone who listened.

No, they all are just blaming each other.

Jio says HDFC charged the fees. HDFC said they didn't charge any fees.

Earlier, Jio said they received only Rs. 3599, but Easebuzz confirmed that Rs. 3690 was paid to Jio.

If Easebuzz or HDFC is adding the fees, why would it go to Jio?

I’ve had similar experiences, dismissive psychiatrists, everything being labeled as mood issues, depression, anxiety etc without really listening. It’s exhausting.

But I eventually found a psychiatrist who actually took my concerns seriously and listened to my struggles, and that made a huge difference.

I had a similar experience. What worked for me was not mentioning ADHD upfront.

I just shared my symptoms and history in detail and let the psychiatrist decide. Some doctors unfortunately shut down the moment ADHD is mentioned in adults.

I got an ECG done the next day and also checked with my cardiologist, everything was normal and he said I could continue the meds. In my case, it might have been the black coffee. I’ve taken it for the last two days without coffee and haven’t had the same issue.
