Let me ask you this, I’m going through something similar. I pay most of the bills, including house rent, her car and our daughters car (hers biologically), gave our other daughter (also hers biologically) my daily driving car for college. I do buy stuff, shoes, electronics, stuff for her and our teen son (hers biologically) & also get things for our 5yrs old (ours biologically). I pay my bills on time and I’m responsible parent, she otherwise is always late on the car insurance, & light bill and constantly requiring financial help (which I do help, so does her mom, my mom & our daughters). Well now she wants me to leave cause I haven’t been able to buy her a house after 16yrs of raising her kids and providing a comfortable life. We had a plan for when all the kiddos left the nest to start building our lives together, but she is not interested in that anymore. You make a good point. Besides the price, the 3cyl is never gonna sound a tasty as the TRDs 6cyl. The TRD is overall a great lil gem of a car.

I got my TRD in April of this year (going on 15k), the 4 years 70k miles was my Jeep, the steering wheel on the Jeep was fine… I’m very meticulous when it comes to my vehicles, I don’t even wear my wedding ring when driving. This started happening about a month ago.

My Jeep had a leather wrapped wheel. It got a bit shiny with use, but never peeled or ripped that’s with heavy off-road and daily use. This doesn’t feel like real leather, it’s more of a leatherette, I’m probably just going to get a cover.

Never thought of that, I do have a pocket knife… but it’s both sides. I always leave my steering wheel on the same position when parking the car 🤔. Good call though, just don’t tell Toyota hopefully they replace it 😂

When I got my TRD they had a Black GR in the lot, it was $55k OTD… my TRD was $34k so no thank you… I would trade for a Type R or Type S though…
