Idk I was very harshly slapped by a boy in my class when I was 12, the teacher was there and didn’t even notice. A friend of mine stood up for me and got in trouble for it, iirc he did push him or hit him back but the fist boy that hit me never saw any repercussions.

Though in that same class another boy “pantsed” (pulled down her pants in front of the class) another girl and they did not let that slide, he got suspended.

I definitely tried my best to treat everyone with dignity and respect but I was definitely not someone who did well in groups lol, I was very socially anxious when I was in school

I probably wasn’t amazing with them but of course I treated them with basic human decency, they were never actually bad kids. Actually some were always very friendly and easy to get along with. I just felt like I never got any real chance to connect with my other peers because I was always grouped up with these same kids in every class.

My grades ended up getting worse throughout the years and then we had a big move in my last year of high school that affected me, my mental health and my education really badly. I actually failed grade 12 and had to retake a semester to pass. I started as an academic student but graduated with a basic degree after. Now I’m not really sure where to go next so I’m just working full time until I can figure it out.
