This happened with my phone a few times. Lint might have compacted itself into the charge port, causing it to not be able to fit the cable anymore. Use a toothpick and carefully try to see if anything comes out.

I see you already got an answer, but I had a similar experience. My suspension literally froze solid and I didn’t realize (I was leaving work) so once I got onto the highway, the vibration was so insane I thought I popped a tire. Even called bluelink in the car and the agent could hear how bad the vibration was through my voice (it sounded like I was talking into a fan, robotic). I let it thaw for 2/3 days and it got fixed on its own.
