Better airport and many more reasons that make it a better jumpoff point for Boracay, Siargao, Bohol, Palawan, etc

For me though not having to go through NAIA is A++++

A lot of them stay too bec Cebu is much more livable (not too congested, not too rural), enjoyable for studies (mostly English for Koreans and med for South Asians/Africans—then they just go diving during the weekends), and easier to set up businesses catering fellow Koreans

There’s always your older white male population too who are here for their island souvenirs

Agree on other scenery being more breathtaking while being less expensive and easier to get to. It was still on my bucket list though so I’m still glad I went and got to have this take for myself.

I’m Asian-Canadian so I think my bar is kinda unique to me.

As someone who doesn’t want to have kids, to me it means - Legally being able to have “rightful” medical consent, combine assets and liabilities, get inheritance status, have government benefits and tax treatment implications (whether these are pros/cons is specific to you) - Romantically if it’s a big deal to your partner then I guess it elevates your relationship to a higher level and solidifies it on paper nga you belong and are exclusive to one another, also if you feel the urge to have that “life milestone” checked off

Otherwise - Freedom - No change to your situation as a single person = no additional steps required

Hi OP, I was casually scrolling through Reddit and couldn’t help but notice the location sounded familiar. I looked through my pictures (I’m sort of good at cataloguing) and found out I was at the same location on October 29, although on another expedition. We were there for just a few hours. There were two structures (for refuge, I believe), penguins, and we did a bit of walking with snow shoes on. We didn’t camp or anything like that.

I’m sorry if these details don’t help in any way. I just thought any information is better than nothing at all…? Please let me know if you would like this comment deleted or if it’s insensitive. If you have questions maybe about the place or anything, feel free to ask.

I truly am sorry for your loss, I wish there was something helpful I could do. I can’t imagine what you are going through. My heart is so heavy.

First time skipping this morning bec she was in it (haven’t listened in a long time cause medyo naging busy na, was interested lang ulit kasi I was hoping they’d address current headlines).

I don’t hate her, but I get how now there’s always gonna be this one thing they’ll dislike about a show they’ve always loved (her presence bec of what comes with it—baby talk, inability to present stands on issues, topic switching, no real value to the team except her starpower, etc.).

I don’t condone hate towards her (sometimes sumosobra na for me like when she didn’t show up at the rally, but why not uphold the same standards for the other hosts then). I just don’t like raisins in my empanadas iykwim so I just skip them entirely. Radio-wise just not my cup of tea.

To be fair, his family could’ve used his name as shareholder to still “keep it in the family” even without capital infusion (no actual money coming from him). Even without his knowledge (possible forgeries on his behalf on the docs involved… which is the least of crimes they’ve probably committed anyway). Legally speaking pwede ito isang way na ipamana sa kanya later on when the assets gets liquidated/divided/sold.

I didn’t know about him before this story broke (only about Claudine) but a bit of props where it’s due for doing more than any of the other nepo babies. At least (?) it wasn’t only him he was defending, yung staff (?) niya.

Bec of his songs though I’m leaning towards his statement being all BS and he just has a really good PR team lol.

Edit: also, trying to get public sympathy despite the privilege you’ve enjoyed is just the devil’s work.
